Good fun, but not value for money - The class was a great way to learn some information about Guatemalan food, it was done with clear guidance about what we were doing and the significance of the food. As a solo traveller the chefs were on hand to help me with whatever needed doing, and they were friendly and supportive throughout. Communication was clear in the build up, and delays to my tuk-tuk were dealt with effectively. My main criticism was the price, it was a lot of money for a 2 hour class where I basically just cut up some vegetables and then ate the food that the chefs prepared. Wouldn’t recommend if you are not in a rush or if you are trying to budget your stay efficiently.
