A must visit cooking experience in Jodhpur - Wonderful artistic family organising a unique experience. You learn about the Indian Cuisine and the unique connection they have with their food. Everything was home made (even some spice mixes). It was like being invited to their home to come and have dinner with them. They showed us how everything is made and gave us the recipes. The eldest daughter of the family is an artist at heart, and even did some Henna! All in all a wonderful experience 10/10 recommend.

The flavors of India will be revealed and explained to you - Visit to the Jodhpur Bazaar. The crowds, the colors, the scents and to finish the visit our guide took us to visit the spice store “The Spice girls of Rajasthan”. It was Priya who received us and gave us a presentation of spices and their medicinal properties. Very interesting. Their story is also sad, a family of only girls: their father, the owner of the business, died, they had a thousand hardships to take over and continue the business. No one wanted to buy spices from them anymore. One of them had acid thrown in the face... they held on. They therefore always sell spices and several kinds of teas. Better still, they also give cooking classes in a small room a stone's throw from the store. With them you can discover Indian cuisine with their detailed explanations of spices and their benefits. “Thespicegirlsofrajasthan.com

Delicious simple cooking class - Excellent simple informal cooking class in Jodhpur. Reena is an excellent cook and showed me some great recipes that I can't wait to try again. The food was all delicious, I can't say what I liked best because everything was so good. Also very nice was the daughter who helped her mother with the translation and told me a little about her life and Indian customs and traditions.

Excellent cooking class with lovely family - Excellent cooking class with lovely family. Reena and her family welcomed us into their home and gave us a great lesson on cooking some local dishes. We even got to see some of her daughters’ drawings which were amazing. We can’t wait to try to recreate the dishes for our friends and families when we get home.

Felt at home and welcomed- couldn't have asked for a better experience! - I had such a lovely time. My friend and I joined this cooking class- and wow!!! The family was incredibly nice, they were so warm and friendly- they did everything they could to help us feel welcomed. When we admitted that we had little to no cooking skills, they were so kind and patient with us! I felt no nervousness and really just enjoyed the experience! There's nothing that can compare to cooking with a family when overseas- this is was a true moment of feeling at home in another country- and I felt so fortunate to have this experience. But the true test is eating the food- and gosh it did not disappoint! The food was SO DELICIOUS and I found myself coming back for not one, or two but three serving top ups! If you are looking to do a cooking class in Jodhpur, supporting and meeting this lovely family is the way to go :)

Great family cooking class! - This cooking class was incredible!! i’ve never had such delicious food in my life and that is all thanks to the incredible Reena who showed us all the steps to making it as we went. The class was engaging and interactive and Reena was clearly very knowledgeable and skilled in cooking. I especially loved the rice dish and creamy onions 😋 Reena and her family were also very hospitable and we enjoyed chatting with them before and after the class. What an incredible experience , and cannot wait to see this lovely family again😊😊

One of life’s best experiences - We were not sure what to expect and my husband was a little apprehensive initially. We were greeted warmly by our hosts and within minutes we felt like family. We cooked, laughed and joked the entire afternoon. The only reason we left after 3 hours was because we had another tour. We highly recommend this activity. It really showed us a side of Jodhpur hospitality that is sincere and genuine. We received all the recipes via pdf and I have no doubt that I will continue to stay in touch with the family.
