Book This One — Highly Professional! - Perfect drivers! He was at the airport with my name on a sign, took my bag and walked me to the car. The ride to the hotel was hassle-free (except the traffic but hey, it’s Joburg). And the pick-up back to O. R. Tambo was even better. It was Election Day in SA so there was no one on the road. The driver was friendly and talkative. I enjoyed our conversation . Overall — great experience.

Great service - It took us 2.5 hrs to get through customs because of a work slowdown. Our driver called us and waited for us, I was relieved he waited.

They Waited for me for Hours! - There was a THREE HOUR queue to get through passport control at Tambo Airport and even though I wrote to let the company know that the line was long, I thought there was a good chance that they wouldn't wait THAT long. But the driver was still there when I finally emerged. He was polite, a good driver and didn't complain at all about the delay.

Excellent client communication and service - I received excellent service from Citi Shuttles. Their client communication was exceptional. My flight to OR Tambo was delayed by nearly 2 hours, but my driver Chris maintained excellent contact with me from the time I was at the departure airport in Cape Town until I arrived at OR Tambo airport in Johannesburg. Very professional company who I will not hesitate to use again in the future.

Late pick up - Unfortunately the driver was not there when we landed and had to wait which then meant we had bad traffic and he took us around side streets and was rather erratic and shouting at others and honking horn. However we did arrive safely. Hope the return is better.

Big watch out - The science behind booking in advance and paying Viator an extra fee is for peace of mind. Pick up was great and a nice car and driver. Return was short to be a nightmare, I had to do an international call just to know the pick up time. Driver was late by 25 minutes (he claimed there was an accident). Car was below standard. Upon arrival he assured me it will take 25 minutes (keep in mind that we are late for an international flight). There was an accident on the airport exit. I made it to the counter to check my luggage after it was closed and had to run to my gate thru security and customs. Not what you want to experience during your vacation. City express car service was negligent.
