I absolutely recommend! - Jeff tours was recommended to us by our Inn and we were not disappointed , we wanted to visit the Apartheid Museum but it was unfortunately closed , Joseph our Guide offered us another visit to the Hector Pieterson Museum and adapted throughout the tour. As we already knew Soweto he adapted his turn according to our desires. Everything was possible and everything was easy. Joseph is a thoughtful Guide therefore but also very interesting and friendly. We loved our visit and our Guide, our teens too were delighted! We absolutely recommend!!! Come to Johannesburg to meet Joseph and better understand the history of South Africa and apartheid!

Johannesburg Private Tour - Joseph gave us a very informative tour. He was very accommodating with our questions. We took our time with the different places we went to, and weren't felt rushed. Overall, it was a great tour.

Very interesting experience exploring the prison and recent history of SA - We visited on a not-busy Sunday in winter, and really enjoyed the guided tour which last an hour or so, taking us around the Block 4 and isolation areas. The tour was a touch rushed, so we went back and revisited the parts we missed. The women's prison was more artistic and nicely laid out, but we ran out of steam! Maybe worth seeing it first, then doing the tour after? Remarkable considering how recent the history is. The prison is now surrounded by tall buildings in a fairly deprived part of town.

Okish. Better to take Uber and do it on your own. - The guided tour didn’t cover women jail and fort. Also Gandhi museum was not covered by the guide. Although when I was visiting these places on my own I saw other guides covering the same. In apartheid museum guided tour was not given and I was left on my own to explore.
