Delicious Food & Good Company! - Gilda, our guide, was fantastic! Very knowledgeable on the area, the food, the people. Was such an incredible evening. Note: if you do the experience on a Saturday, do the earlier time as the street art shops close at 2pm so we missed that part, which we would have loved to enjoy!

Great adventure - Gilda was an outstanding and knowledgeable guide. We had a great time wandering around the old parts of Jo'berg. Great variety of wonderful food we sampled. Highly recommend this tour. Suggestion... bring napkins or moist towelettes to clean up between samples.

Unique and tasty tour! - What a fun and informative way to experience the diversity of Johannesburg’s Fordsburg neighborhood.! Making our way through the streets and markets, Gilda introduced us to amazing, unique taste treats of this Muslim and Indian area. Her breezy warm friendly manner with the local traders and thoughtful, honest conversations with us was refreshing. The coconut samosas (or Samoosas, as the locals say) were amazing.

One of the best! - The variety of activities and Gilda's expertise and entertaining style Thank you to Gilda for a fantastic experience with my son Rob (Not a teen I might add so put in couple for category) To be honest I would have probably not ventured into this neighbohood on my own having just arrived in Joburg with no knowledge. We would have missed out on a wonderful day indeed. I highly recommend this tour! Make it one of the first tours you book!

Fabulous food experience in Fordsburg - Learning the history of that part of Johannesburg and the amazing streetfood. Our guide is knowledgeable and knows many people on the route, which made the experience great. She is clearly well known and well liked.

Food tour first thing in Joburg! - Three of us did this tour with Gilda. We were late arriving at the Joburg airport and hence a few minutes late for the start of the tour. Fortunately it was only the three of us on the tour. We tried middle eastern and Indian food which was all really good! Make sure you come hungry and are not offended easily as Gilda likes to joke around!
