Our journey continues to Constitutional Hill, the prison that has confined prominent figures such as Nelson Mandela and Mahatma Gandhi who have largely influenced South Africa’s history. This place is also home to the country’s highest court. Our drive will take us through Braamfontein and across the Nelson Mandela Bridge leading to Johannesburg’s Central Business District, where we will witness the vibrancy of the city. Finally, we’ll visit Soweto, a remarkable township celebrating its two Nobel Peace Prize recipients and its significant role during the June 16, Soweto Uprising.
