Wonderful Walking Tour through Soweto - Wonderful, interesting and diverse walking tour through Soweto. We could really dive into the neighbourhoods, got different impressions and s lot of first-hand knowledge. Even took the taxi, went for a local beer, and to a restaurant. Already thinking on when to go back. Thank you very much!

Take the tour with Nkuli! - It was a great experience to tour Soweto with Nkuli. We were able to discover the true history of Soweto! He takes us to know not only the tourist attractions, but the organization that helps, the people's lives... we toured many parts of Soweto and got to know what it's like to live there. And our guide, who lived through the historic days of Apartheid, can tell us what those days were like. Phenomenal! I recommend!

Best First Greeting to South Africa and the Continent! - If you have plans to visit Johannesburg, South Africa please reach out to Nkuli Shelembe for a guided tour! He was our guide in May 2024 and was both knowledgeable and proud of his community. We couldn't have imagined navigating our way around Jo'burg, touring the areas of Soweto, President Mandela's home or having lunch at a traditional South African restaurant by ourselves. I smile now at how patient he was while we asked many, many questions along the way. It was our first stop of 4 countries on the continent for our holiday and he was the perfect person for us to spend time with during our stay in Johannesburg. Thank you, Nkuli!

A brilliant tour - We had a brilliant tour with NK. We only had half a day in Johannesburg and he was really flexible and started the tour early so we could fit everything in. He is a lovely chap; hugely knowledgeable and a great communicator. He made us feel totally at ease during the tour. We learned so much, not just about Joberg and Soweto but about South Africa in general. We had so many questions on subjects from football to politics and he patiently answered them all. He pitched the tour perfectly and even my 12 year old enjoyed every minute. We also loved visiting The SHALK Community Project which does brilliant work and were glad that we were able to support it through the tour. I highly recommend NK and his tours.
