Half-day Soweto tour - The guide was very nice, responsible and knowedgeable. As I didn't have my lunch included in the tour, I used that time to enter Mandela's house in Soweto, and the guide ensured I was left in good hands and I would take no risks by being on my own. The tour was very interesting, of a perfect duration.

Getting to known soweto - "I recently booked the Half Day Tour of Soweto with Moafrika, and it exceeded my expectations! The booking process was seamless, and their team ensured a smooth and hassle-free experience. Our guide was exceptional, sharing insightful stories and history about Soweto's iconic sites like Mandela House and the Hector Pieterson Museum. What made this tour truly special was the opportunity to interact with the warm and welcoming locals. We visited a local market and enjoyed traditional food, which was delicious and authentic. Moafrika also recommended excellent accommodation options, which added to the overall experience. The people we met along the way, from our guide to the Soweto residents, were friendly, passionate, and proud of their heritage. It was inspiring to see the community's resilience and spirit. If you want an authentic and immersive Soweto experience, book with Moafrika! Their expertise, local connections, and commitment to responsible tourism make all the difference."

Soweto, from its origins to today! - Spectacular tour 🤩 Prince (our Guide) picked us up directly where we were staying in Rosebank. Along the way he told us many goodies about Johannesburg, Soweto and South Africa in general. In Soweto Prince knows a lot of people, he took us to the most iconic places, but also to the places where the people in need are. He told us well the history of the place, from its origins to today and showed us the difficulties that the people who live there face every day. Your highly recommended!! Prince is the best in ABSOLUTE!

Exceptional and Emotionally Rewarding Exprrience - Thankyou to our exceptional guide Cpho for giving us a truly emotionally rewarding experience. This was a tour with absolute heart and soul and we can’t thank him enough for sharing real life experiences. The visit to the shanty towns of Soweto left us truly humbled and we finished our tour with a greater understanding of apartheid and the ongoing struggles that besiege South Africa.Thankyou Moafrika for a day we will never forget.

Life - changing trip to Soweto. - As a first-time visitor to Soweto, I was nervous but excited to explore this iconic township with Moafrika. From the moment we began, our guide's passion and expertise put me at ease, and I knew I was in for a special experience. The tour was a masterclass in history, culture, and resilience. I was deeply moved by the stories of struggle and triumph, and the vibrant streets of Vilakazi stole my heart. Visiting Mandela's home and the Hector Pieterson Museum was a humbling experience, and I left with a newfound appreciation for the people and places that shaped South Africa's history. Moafrika's tour exceeded my expectations in every way. If you're a first-time visitor like I was, don't hesitate – this tour will open your eyes and heart to the real Soweto. I'm forever grateful for this experience and can't wait to return!
