Incredible Experience - Prince was absolutely amazing! I had taken several tours during my time in Cape Town and Johannesburg, and this tour was by far the most impactful. Prince’s extensive knowledge about Soweto and its people and history helped paint a vibrant picture while touring such iconic and relevant places and monuments. Being able to go into the villages and meet the people was by far the most amazing experience. I am deeply touched by my time on this tour. My advice: bring tissues!

Truly immersive experience that left a lasting impression on our group of friends - -We delved into the township's complex history, vibrant culture, and resilient community. We explored iconic sites like Vilakazi Street, Mandela House, and the Hector Pieterson Museum, gaining valuable insights into the struggles and triumphs of Soweto's people. The tour's personalized touch allowed us to engage meaningfully with locals, savour traditional treats, and soak up the dynamic atmosphere.

Great Experience with a Good Company - The trip was arranged solo as I couldn't do it within normal hours. The staff worked out a timeframe that was suitable for me. Ali picked me up on time in an impeccably clean vehicle. After some getting to know you, I asked Ali if we could adjust the itinerary somewhat as there were some things I wanted to skip and other things I wanted to see. As it was a solo tour, Ali was more than happy to adjust everything on-the-fly. I had an excellent driving tour of the more important aspects of Johannesburg, getting a holistic take on the city. The Soweto part of the tour was informative and there was even a brief walk into the poorer areas, which was completely safe and eye-opening. The best part of the trip was the guide, Ali. He was very knowledgeable about the political, economic and social challenges facing Johannesburg historically, currently and in the future. I felt like I recieved a full course on the city in the 3 hour tour. Very highly recommended. This company also helped me book a safari in Kruger. Rishen did an excellent job setting all of this up.

Soweto the best of Johannesburg - Our guide was knowledgeable and we enjoyed all the areas and museums we visited. We were picked up at the airport and had an afternoon tour then dropped off at our hotel. Luggage was safe and a great way to visit and learn of customs and sites when we only had a day in Johannesburg.

Unforgettable night out in Soweto! - We did the night tour of Soweto starting before sunset and moving on to a few shebeens (places serving alcohol), including dinner and 4 drinks. I'm sure they are all great but our guide, Thsolo, was top notch. He shared history and answered all our questions effortlessly. We interrupted him a lot to ask more questions during the drive and it didn’t phase him at all. We shared about ourselves and compared cultural norms and traditions. It felt like visiting a friend and being shown around by them. The museums are closed at night, but we still stopped by and looked in Mandela House and drove past Archbishop Tutu's house and felt with got the history story and the current vibe of part of Soweto. We got everything we expected and more. We only had one free night in Johannesburg and I am so happy that we chose this tour over other options.

Great tour of Soweto! - We had a great full-day tour with Khutso (a.k.a. Goodwill) in Soweto. We had time to visit the Apartheid Museum and the Hector Peterson Museum, and Khutso was generous with answering all our questions. Also saw the home of Desmond Tutu, and ate lunch at a local Soweto eatery with local people in the township. We especially appreciated seeing the wide range of living conditions, and the highlight was visiting a school where we interacted with the children (we had brought some simple toys with us to give them).
