Great half day trip - Wonderful tour. Nahti our guide was knowledgeable and adjusted to the level of interest of the group. Felt safe and well taken care the entire time. A very impressive travel back and important to remember the South African history. The tour was planned for half a day and turned out to be 5.5 hours. Plan a bit more time if you select the morning tour.

Perfect for a stopover in Johannesburg - Very very interesting. Above all, the contrast between the rich and the poorest parts of Soweto, placed side by side. Our Guide, Bobo, lives in Township and is very knowledgeable.

A necessary experience - This was a really shocking exposure to the horrors black Africans have had to endure. I felt ashamed to be white and often wanted to cry. A very necessary experience so we never repeat the same atrocities! Our guide was wonderful, flawless English and so very knowledgeable. The tour operator, Solly went beyond helpful to ensure I got back to my hotel in time for my airport pick-up. A huge thank you!!

Living history: Apparheit museum & Soweto. - History, as painful as can be, is the best way to never forget! Freedom is a right that we all should not take for granted! Cost a lot, now an then! Visit the Apparheit museum is a MUST! Thank you Clement for your insights! Puntual, kind and first hand knowledge. Visit Soweto is an extraordinary way to experiment resilencia! Wish Venezuela also conquer her Freedom too!

Bad experience - The tour was misrepresented. Pickup was haphazard and we were left to believe lunch was included in spite of tour description that excluded lunch. No options for other lunch alternatives were given. Guide was repetitive. Van was crowded and difficult to enter/exit. A tour of underprivileged neighborhoods was demeaning. We didn’t need to drive through multiple neighborhoods to understand how inequitable life is in South Africa.
