Really about a MILLION stars - We travel frequently and have had the opportunity to do and see some amazing things around the world and this Star Gazing experience was among the most unique and memorable. There is SO MUCH TO LIKE: -Tony’s expertise explaining and interpretation of the stars and constellations -the very cool, once-in-a-lifetime chance to look at the sky through military grade night vision goggles -the warm fuzzy hooded blanket-like ponchos they provide that are like a big warm hug (even if you brought tons of layers) -the wonderful follow-up and directions to the spot in Joshua Tree national park -the friendly and helpful assistant “cuz” -the small group (9 people max) -the great gravity chairs so you can look up while laying back -the amazing souvenir photo they take and send you for free What it’s like-this is a lot more than an ordinary star tour. Yes they have big telescopes and show you cool cigar galaxies, planets and moons, but in addition Tony weaves together stories and mythology from global cultures while pointing out features in the sky. Part graduate astronomy class, part philosophy part geography-listening and learning was truly mesmerizing. If you have the chance to do this, don’t hesitate you will NOT regret the experience. The only negative is that the time just flew by-we could have listened to the stories for another hour or two beyond the 90 minute schedule.

Once in a lifetime experience - What a wonderful experience. A unique chance to see the stars like they should be seen. I hesitated to book because it’s on the pricier side, and hey, can’t you look at stars in Joshua Tree yourself? But it was worth every penny and more. The stories, the knowledge, the wonder. Overall, an excellent -7 Sisters STARS – wonderful time. Thank you to Tony and “Cuz” who were so enthusiastic, knowledgeable, accommodating, they kept us warm, facinated, and engaged the whole time. My favorites were the Andromeda Galaxy, the surface of the moon (WOW), the “Golden Gate Bridge” and especially the parting gift – it’s awesome but don’t want to spoil the surprise. Notes – dress warm, they provide additional layers and comfy chairs but wear warm clothes, screen shot or print directions, so you know exactly where you are doing. Your phone will be zilch-help while you are out there. However, once you are there you are very thoroughly well taken care of.

NOT WHAT YOU WOULD EXPECT, BUT MORE - I knew I had arranged an experience with a professional crew when they changed the meeting date five days in advance because of forecasted weather. On arrival Tony enthusiastically greeted us, along with Cuz. Then it began. We were instantly transported to native american folklore as we gazed the constellations. This was not a "see that? that's alpha centuri" experience. This was a connection of people on earth with the constellations that have been there for eons. Native American, Hawaiian, Polynesian... When to hunt. When winter starts. Tony was non-stop. While Tony talked story, Cuz set up the telescope to view the nebulas. Real life Smithsonian Institute stuff. Did you know you can use your fist in the sky as a "GPS" to the stars? I can keep going; It's been over 2 weeks since I met Tony and Cuz, and I still feel the energy that was generated. I am looking forward to another experience with Tony. I suggest you get on their list.

You'll never look at the sky the same - This was hands-down the highlight of our three week stay in Joshua Tree (which is saying a lot because JT is absolutely stunning!). We had a great time with Tony and Cuz and the other guests for the evening. Tony is an excellent story teller and we feel we got to build a new connection with the cosmos. Shout out to Molli for all the logistics and super responsiveness / ease of booking. Book it - you won't regret it.

Experience and photo of a lifetime - This experience with Tony was way beyond what we could have imagined. I brought my 81 year old client and my mother to see Joshua Tree and learn about the stars. Well done everyone. The experience was top notch from start to finish and don't get me started about all the information TONY knew.... Well for sure do this again... A little tip, you should do it when the moon is at its lowest in light as you will see so so much more an deeper into space.....

An unforgettable night with the stars - I had such an amazing time on this trip. Tony and Cuz created an absolutely magical experience. The night vision goggles gave a glimpse into the sky that would otherwise have been impossible. Tony passed on his knowledge and wisdom of our ancestors with such generosity. I have never been able to remember constellations, but he had such a unique way of imparting information about star formations that I still remember what he taught us. His approach to teaching mixes a childlike curiosity with an age old wisdom that we have lost over time. All in all, this is an experience I highly recommend. I hope to go again soon! To top it off, at the end, we all got to take photos and in my solo pic, the camera captured a shooting star!

An Amazing way to experience the universe in Joshua Tree - We had an incredible experience with Tony & Molli they were excellent throughout the process. They helped point us in the right direction to get into Joshua Tree and see some great sights on the way to the Star Tour. Tonys enthusiasm was infectious and we were left hanging on his every word. From his explanation to the technology we were using to his stories from our older brothers and sisters. To how he used the stars to navigate in his professional life. We didn’t see a UFO but we got incredibly lucky and saw a SpaceX Rocket streak across the sky near the end of our tour. We did this to make a memory for our 1st anniversary and my wife and I were “star struck” with our experience thank you both so much!

Once in a Lifetime, Mind Blowing Perspective on the Skies - This was one of the best tours I’ve ever taken, in Sky Nation or otherwise. Molli’s communication was clear and concise leading up to the tour. Tony’s enthusiasm is contagious and his knowledge knows no bounds. Cuz lined up some of the most incredible viewing and gave insight to the true science in the astros. Stories were customized to where we were from and our background so this was truly a one of a kind experience. The gear you use are things you may never get to try and viewing the skies through night vision is truly something to behold. I will absolutely do this again, as I don’t think one visit is nearly enough with these consummate experts.

Magical Stargazing Experience! - My wife and I, newlyweds, had an unforgettable stargazing experience with Tony and Kevin. Their knowledge and enthusiasm were contagious! We loved the comfortable zero-gravity chairs and breathtaking views. A highlight was when Tony pointed out a binary star system in the Little Dipper, sharing a romantic story that made the moment truly special. The Unistellar telescope images were stunning. Highly recommend for a unique and memorable experience!
