She learned cooking from her parents and merges her love for teaching and cooking by offering culinary classes to visitors eager to explore authentic Japanese cuisine.

Meet Hiroko at Musashi-Koganei train station and enjoy a short walk to her cozy Koganei apartment, situated just outside central Tokyo, for an enjoyable 2-hour cooking class. Enthusiastic about Japanese food and culture, Hiroko will guide you in making sushi rice, rolling maki with raw fish, vegetables, and fish roe, and preparing a traditional Japanese vegetable dish like goma-ae.

During your session, savor green tea or coffee, as well as wine or beer, which are included in your experience. If you prefer to learn chirashi sushi (sushi bowls) or homestyle Japanese dishes like nikujaga or oyakodon instead of maki, simply inform Hiroko when booking!
