You’ll be a huge fun of Japanese calligraphy after this session;) - We had a really great time with the kindest local guide/translator!!
They tried so hard to make us comfortable and make sure we are following the directions.
We got to write our favorite words in Kanji which are certain characters commonly used among Japanese people for a looong time.
The smell of fresh ink and sounds of brush running was actually relaxing and we loved this whole experience!!
I would definitely come back with my family again!!

The stuffs were very nice and patient! Wonderful experience - We like to experience other countries closer to the local experience than as tourists.
We got to learn how to write our name in the different types of Japanese characters. Then we also got to choose how to write a favorite word! The teachers were very encouraging and told us exactly the proper way to brush each stroke. It was really cool! We learned so much and made a ton of memories and souvenirs in a short time. If you are in Tokyo, I strongly recommend booking in for a lesson with them.

A fun calligraphy experience with the whole family! - I wanted my children to experience some Japanese culture during their trip to Japan, so I joined this tour.
The teacher taught us carefully and the whole family enjoyed it!
The teacher thought up the kanji for my name and wrote it in calligraphy!
It was a very valuable experience!
He even made a T-shirt with the characters I wrote! It was a very nice souvenir!

Highly recommended - We booked this calligraphy workshop whilst staying in Tokyo. The staff was lovely and so welcoming, we learnt some history behind Shodo and the importance of it in Japanese culture. We then practiced some basic Kanji, (it’s harder than it looks!). We got great feedback during the lesson with lots of tips of how to improve. We finished the lesson by writing our names in Kanji which was so rewarding! And I got the only T shirt in the world. I would highly recommend this. Thank you so much!

Lovely experience - This was my first time trying calligraphy and Hiromi was a lovely and patient teacher. I enjoyed spendig those 2 hours with her. Going home with a T-shirt with my own handwriting is a great plus: the perfect personalised souvenir!

A wonderful family experience - Fantastic experience for the whole family. Felt very lucky to do this privately as our family. Traditional Japanese room was very special. Our guide was also exceptional, very accomodating and personal, wonderful English and translated all of the calligraphy instructions.
We had an excellent Sensei guide us through calligraphy, including ink making and perfecting our stroke. We got to write our names as well. All materials were provided and very professional!!

Great Experience With Japanese Sensei - I had the opportunity to understand and try authentic Japanese calligraphy. Sensei Nori and Wendy provided an amazing experience for me as a solo traveler. Wendy is a trilingual young lady who can speak Spanish, English, and Japanese. So para los que vienen de Latino America, escoje este actividad.
Sensei Nori gave me a great introduction to calligraphy and showed me the differences in ink (practice ink vs expensive high quality.). I wish this experience lasted longer because I genuinely enjoyed talking to Wendy and Sensei.
Most importantly I purchased a shirt with my favorite word. It will be sent to me via Japan Mail and I can’t wait to receive it.

A Beautiful Calligraphy Experience in Tokyo - This workshop was an absolute highlight of my trip! In a serene, traditional Japanese setting, I learned the art of Shodō under the guidance of a highly skilled and patient instructor. It was not only educational but also relaxing and inspiring. The personal attention and passion for Japanese culture made it extra special. A unique experience I highly recommend to everyone!
