Want to know what is good bad and ugly sake. Take two hours with Hawaii Joe when in Tokyo. You will feel richer for it. - Hawai Joe is knowledgeable, a non stop communicator, passionate and absolutely bilingual. In 2 hours we left with a very clear idea of of what is good bad and ugly in the world of sake.

Amazing! - Absolutely AMAZING tasting with Andrea!! She is so knowledgeable about everything sake and made the tasting so fun! I loved that it was interactive with the tasting chart we each got to make, it helped to really think about the differences in each type we tried. A really great way to spend a rainy afternoon :) Andrea even shared a list at the end with sake vocab to help us when we are out on our own and an extensive list of recommendations for food and things to do around Tokyo. Highly highly recommend booking this sake tasting!

Great class at a good price - Megan was a great host. Very knowledgeable and friendly and made the class very interactive and was also attentive to all our questions. There was a great variety of sakes to taste. The snacks were weird and nice at the same time. Definitely recommend. Place is a bit hard to find. Maybe putting a (bigger or more obvious) sign for the sake class outside would be helpful

Wonderful Learning Experience - An afternoon well spent! Andrea was knowledgeable, engaging, and accommodating. Her depth of knowledge about sake is admirable and her ability to communicate facts with clarity is much-appreciated. It was obvious that she was enjoying sharing her passion for sake. The generous sampling of sake was well-worth the price! It was simply one of the best activities I have ever experienced in my many trips to Japan. Keep up the excellent work! 💕

Hawaii Joe did an excellent job of explaining the different classes of sake’s & which foods paired best with the sake that we were drinking . He also gave recommendations on questions to ask when purchasing sake. Overall, this experience was a 10/10
