- Azumbashi Bridge - We will start the walking tour from Tokyo Cruise(Water Bus Station) near Azumabashi Bridge on Sumida River, which is famous for Sumida River Firework Festival on July.

- Nakamise Shopping Street (Kaminarimon) - We will enter the center of Asakusa area from the main gate of Sensoji Temple, Kaminarimon Gate, which is the icon of Asakusa.
- Senso-ji Temple Bentendo - After walking into the central area of Asakusa, we will take a look at one of the lovely temples in Asakusa, Bentendo, which has the deity of art and prosperity.
- The Bell of Time - Next to Bentendo Temple, there’s the Bell of Time, which was regularly rung by the monk of Senso-ji Temple to let people know the time during Edo Period(from the 16th to the 18th century).
- Senso-ji Temple Nitemmon Gate - On the right of the main hall of Sensoji Temple, there is one of the National Cultural Properties in Japan, Nitenmon Gate. This gate was use as the Shogun’s gate, which means only the general was allowed to pass during Edo Period.
- Asakusa Shrine - After taking a look at Nitenmon Gate, we will see Asakusa Shrine that has 3 deities who are closely related to the origin of Sensoji Temple. There’s also a garage for three big portable shrines that are carried by local people at Sanja Festival in May.

- ASAKUSA HANAYASHIKI - On the left of Sensoji Temple, there is the oldest amusement park in Japan called Hanayashiki, which is used to be the botanical garden.
- Asakusa Nishi-sandō Shopping Street - We will take a look at one of the lovely shopping streets that we can buy a variety of snacks.
- Hoppy Street - We will pass by a popular street for drinking called “Hoppy Street” at the west part of Asakusa. You can feel the vibes of Japanese local izakayas and bars:)
- Chingo-do - This is a lovely temple with a raccoon dog deity located near the quiet Japanese garden. At this temple, you’ll be able to feel a peaceful atmosphere at the center of Asakusa area:)
- Hozomon - In front of the temple, there’s another gate called Hozomon Gate that has a pair of guardian statues.
- Senso-ji Temple - This is the destination of the walking tour, Senso-ji Temple, the oldest temple in Tokyo with 1,400 years of history. I would love to tell you how this temple and its Buddhist deity, Kannon Bodhisattva, has been supported and loved by a variety of people since the past.
