Highly Recommended! - This has got to be my favourite activity in Japan. Loved it so much. The staff were very helpful and friendly. It is also Muslim-friendly - use only halal ingredients. and have a prayer room on-site. Thank you so much for the experience!

Yummy! - We had a great time at the factory. Alisa taught us how to make our first Ramen and we loved every minute of it! It was a fun experience and it tasted really great. Highly recommended.

Fun and Tasty - So fun and very hands on. Our chef/guide Alisa was very enthusiastic and funny. Ramen is fully customisable with your choice of many things including noodle thickness and broth flavours. And of course all the garnishing you do yourself too so it comes out just how you like it.

No Ramen, No Life 😁 - What a great experience making Ramen from scratch! The staffs were awesome. Thank you, Pei & Nori, for the fun session! One thing i like about Ramen Factory is that they are vegan & muslim friendly! No need to worry about the ingredients they use. Highly recommended! ⭐⭐⭐

FANTASTIC staff; FUN experience; TASTY food - I was visiting Kyoto on my own and thought of making a stop at the Ramen factory for a Ramen cooking class. I booked through Expedia, and showed up at the opening time (11am). Two employees welcomed me with enthusiasm, warmth, and a smile. They both tried to make me comfortable right away with humor, which I really appreciated. They helped me settle and guided me through the next steps. The room was empty but shortly after I arrived a group of 3 tourists doing the same tour joined in. Machi was my workshop instructor and guided me as through the whole experience. MACHI IS AMAZING!!!!! She is full of positive energy, very funny, dynamic, and made everything she could to make me feel comfortable and so that I enjoyed the cooking class. She made sure I could take enough pictures to have great memories as well as helping me record videos of me cooking which is great. In terms of the dish itself, the cooking is fairly simple and straightforward, and Machi was always there to answer any questions if needed. The fresh noodles were amazing and the dish pretty good ultimately. MACHI THANK YOU!! I HAD SUCH A GREAT TIME!!! I highly recommend the Ramen Factory. It is expensive but I was happy to pay for the experience which was super fun and interesting. Upon leaving you get a free item (t-shirt or apron) as well as a fun-looking certificate and a bandana.

Lots of FUN - We went and had a laugh with our instructor. She spoke great English and took amazing photos and videos! I would recommend to ANYONE- Kids and adults alike!

10/10 ramen cooking - We had a fantastic time making our own ramen! My partner and I booked in to the 5pm session and we were the only two in the class. This was great as we got one on one instruction from Mae. Mae was an enthusiastic and helpful teacher. Would definitely do this again!!! You get to keep the bandana at the end.

No Ramen, No LIFE!!! - We had an absolutely wonderful time during our morning at Ramen Factory! We were welcomed warmly by the staff who were friendly, engaging & lovely! Machi was our instructor & had us laughing so much through every step. We loved her guidance as we made our own noodles, chicken & broth (I loved the Miso flavour!). I would recommend any traveller to Kyoto to spend some time at the Ramen Factory. I have been in Japan for almost 1 month and this experience is most definitely a highlight!
