A Unique Experience - I had a thoroughly enjoyable day learning about the fascinating ecosystem of the Kemeri Boglands.
There was an easy walk along the wooden boardwalks, which allowed one to inspect close up the plant life and the impact of water on the environment. I was struck by the beauty of this unique place.
Rolands, my guide, was personable and knowledgeable about all things Latvian and he was able to answer questions on a broad range of topics. The optional trip to Jermala beach is also highly recommended.

Thank you Rolands - we had a great day! - A wonderful day out - a unique experience and Rolands was such a fabulous guide. He provided so much interesting information about the places that we went to and so much more about Latvia in general and gave recommendations. We wished we were staying longer to explore more of the countryside outside Riga. Kemeri was so peaceful and beautiful even without any sun - a gentle boardwalk hike around a fascinating place. Great view from the towers. Rolands took lots of photos for us - great to have those memories and he provided some sweets and sweet herbal tea. A genuinely lovely person who made the day and knew a lot about a lot and was fluent in English.
We learnt so much. I would wholeheartedly recommend. Loved it!

A beautiful spot in the Baltics. - A beautiful spot to explore close to Riga. I've never been to a bog before and having the chance to go to one as large and beautiful as this was a real treat,

Amazing trip! Highly recommend - amazing trip with Rolands. He is a great tourguide and very fun as well! It was such a great day. We really enjoyed it and highly recommend to book his tours.
We really learned a lot during our tour today and also got to taste some Latvian sweets which Rolands brought us. And he‘s a great photographer as well. That‘s nice because we not often have photos of the two of us.

Bog walk with a „professional“ - Very convenient tour. The walk through the bog was just great. Our guide Rolands is a bog pro and knows everything about it. He gave us very detailed information and we had a lot of fun as well.
Bog walk took about 2 hours.
Highly recommend!!!!

It was totally worth it - From the first minute Rolands created a warm community feeling, was open to any question we had and included everyone well in the group. We learned a lot about the Boglands and Latvian culture, laughed a lot and realized what special place Latvia has here.
We were a bit hesitant if should do a guided tour or go on our own but we definitely would do it again like this.

Amazing experience in Kemeri Bog - Excellent trip where everything incl. communication and pickup from hotel worked perfectly. Rolands Made the visit to Kemeri Bog both fun and informative. He provided lot of information both on the nature but also other questions regarding Latvia. He was also so Nice that he brought Tea and delicious Sweets. We was lucky to view the most amazing sunrise in the bog, absolutely stunning. Can only highly recommend this tour. They do the trip Even with only one participant, so great opportunity to see some of Latvias beautyful nature if you are travelling solo without a car.

Amazing experience - We had an amazing tour through the Bog with Rolands. He was super friendly and made our trip interesting and fun. The nature and ecosystems are incredibly interesting and unique and we can only recommend taking this tour and learning about the background of this unique place.

Amazing experience - Rolands was an amazing guide for this private tour and immediately welcomed us with a very friendly nature. We walked through the amazing ecosystems and it was like chatting with a friend about nature. Can very much recommend!

Outstanding Informational tour! - Rolands took us around the Kemeri big and showed us it's splendor. He was very knowledgeable and extremely engaging while teaching us about the bog and it's surroundings. We learned about the big, the big woodlands, transition areas, and the nearby swamps. We never knew so much diversity existed is so close proximity, let alone mere minutes from central Riga!
If we return to Latvia, we will certainly try the longer Bog Shoe Tours! We cannot recommend this tour enough! If we had more time we would have taken up his offer to spend the rest of the afternoon on Jūrmala's silky soft, WIDE beach.
