Lovely day trip with an interesting... -
Lovely day trip with an interesting and informative guide who knew a lot of about Latvia's history as well as from a personal perspective, especially being under soviet occupation. He gave us a lot of time to explore beaches and wonderful expanse of bogland that you can walk through on a wooden walkway on our own, but took us to useful sites. He was also accommodating taking us back to the shops and giving us useful info about the town.

Walking in the morning, a really top notch restaurant courtesy of our driver, and then some excellent visits to a small museum and fishermen shuts. The driver/guide Karlis? was brilliant: knowledgable, enthusiastic and really keen to make sure we enjoyed the day. Well worth doing.

Nature at its Best - It is important to know that this is not a cultural tour. You will only get a driver to take you to the different places but he is really not a guide. Yo do the tour on your own. That being said we really loved the Bog, just beautiful. You can skip the fisherman village and Jurmala’s Main Street is worthy if you plan on found some shopping.
