One of the best days of my life! - We saw so many whales, including Orcas! Got amazing photos and learned so much from the knowledgeable staff. Still think about the whales and crew members that we got to know that day.

Awesome humpback whale watching tour - My wife and I took a last minute trip with Alaska Tales due to being let down by a helicopter/ dog sledge ride that was cancelled 30min before the pick up. We where greeted by Nate who took us to big Mike, (the name of the boat we when out on) there where approximately 12 sightseeing on board. Our boat driver (captain) was Larry. On the way out Nate gave us a talk on humpback whales, which was very informative. We learned the the whale tails have markings which are like finger prints, every one is unique. So it was easy when they spotted a humpback called Flame with her calf called Sizzle. Who put on an amazing show for us. We got some beautiful pictures of her fluking and breeching, which is apparently unusual for a mother. Sizzle enjoyed playing too and got lots of breeching pictures. we both thought the trip and the two lads where amazing and well worth the price, we have some fantastic memories and even better pictures which our friends thought we downloaded from the internet they were so good. Thank you Nate and Larry for an awesome experience -one of our best ever excursions.

Just book it - Great people - great experience. The bus ride from the boat to the tour was efficient and fun. The driver gave great knowledge and was incredibly kind. The boat was in great condition and the guides made sure they helped us identify the whales. Next time we visit, we will be booking with them again

Epic Whale Wstching - The whale watching experience was Epic. ❤️. We loved it so much and so many whales and baby whales. They put on July 4th show for us. We enjoyed so much and the crew were so wonderful. Captain James and Steph and Monika were incredible guides. We recommend anyone wanting to whale watch in Juneau Alaska to call these guys.

Breathtaking - Breathtaking. What a world we live in. What a time to live in. To be blessed to see Nature at its best and the natural wonder of the world. Especially to see it as the pioneers saw it before all the Houses and Buildings.

Great morning excursion! - We went in the morning a rainy day and this boat was perfect! Shielded us from wind and rain with the perfect viewing platforms to step out and be amazed by the whales that came to greet us. We saw plenty of humpbacks and orca! We got lucky because they came pretty close to our boat. The guides were knowledgeable and engaging. Timing was perfect because we were still able to enjoy Juneau in the afternoon and even took an Uber to the glacier to explore and hike. I highly recommend this excursion and would suggest going in the morning to keep your afternoon free for anything else you want to do.

Not as expected - So if I am allowed to be honest. I felt disappointed with this tour. First of all the good parts; The bus driver guide who took us to the boat was super. The tour guide on the boat was also very good. However, whilst you cannot predict the weather and whale sightings, it was all a bit of damp experience with just a few minimal glimpses in the distance. The excursion was well over priced for what we experienced. The promised snack turned out to be a kind of 20p childrens small sweety bag you would give a 3year old. Value for money not great.
