Embark on a quintessential Alaskan trifecta—air touring, glacier trekking, and packrafting—all squeezed into a compact 5-hour journey! This Packrafting escapade kicks off with an aesthetic aerial trip pointing towards the Taku Inlet’s opening. After a smooth landing on the lake fed by the Norris Glacier, trudge over the glacier-sculpted land towards a secluded bay where your packraft is ready for action. At this point, you’ll be equipped with single-seater packrafts and briefed on paddling maneuvers by your facilitators. Once your packraft hits the water, your rowing trip towards the glacier will navigate you past floating ice masses to the Norris Glacier. As you near the glacier, get ready to beach your vessel directly on the Norris Glacier. Swap paddles for micro-spikes and traverse the lunar-like expanse of the glacier on foot to feast your eyes on panoramic vistas of Norris and Taku glaciers. Keep your eyes peeled for crevasses, glacier ponds, moulins, and other spellbinding ice formations. On finishing your glacier trek, row back to the land. Your seaplane will be waiting to return you to Juneau.
