Local playing tourist in Juneau - This Segway experience is one of a kind. We got to take in beautiful views of glaciers, the beach and many islands near Juneau. The host Casie was great. She showed patience when teaching people to ride and she was incredibly knowledgeable. We look forward to returning and doing the mountain trip!

Great Segway tour! - Awesome tour with our guides Kaycee and James. They took the time to ensure everyone was comfortable on the Segway before we started and the scenery with the Mendenhall glacier in the background was amazing. Would definitely do this again. Money well spent.

A good experience - We had a great time on our excursion. Lovely scenery and area for this activity. We seen a bald eagle whilst out and about as well as seals near the water. I had expected to be on the Segway for 3 hours however we stopped for a walk and break to a view point through the forest. I would have liked a bit longer on the Segway but that’s just my personal preference. I also liked that this was a small group activity. Would highly recommend to others assuming you are aware you are not on the Segway for the full 3 hour duration. I would have liked to have seen this noted on the booking prior to attending. The young chap who took the trip was very knowledgeable, friendly and good company. He brought us water, snacks, gloves and ponchos which was greatly appreciated for the wet day we had. Unfortunately I cannot remember the guides name but he was super helpful and a lovely guy.

Fun adventure! - Had a great time learning to ride a Segway with the help of a great teacher, Phoenix, who was an excellent guide for our entire adventure as well! The ride was great even though we had bouts of rain throughout. Our hike into the rain forest was fun and educational. Pleasantly surprised how much we enjoyed this excursion! Highly recommend.

So much fun while learning! - What an amazing experience! We were a little nervous about the Segway as none of us had used one prior. Chris and Kacie had us up and moving in no time. They also provided gloves and ponchos which came in very handy. The tour along the highway was very scenic and the guides narrated using radios on each Segway. The rainforest trek portion was fascinating and Kacie was extremely knowledgeable about the ecosystem. This tour was one of the highlights of our Alaskan cruise.

Beautiful afternoon - Beautiful rain forest tour. The guide, Sione, was very knowledgeable about the rainforest past and present. Sione and Chris were exceptionally calm and patient assisting each member of our tour group to become comfortable with the Segway. They were very safety conscious, taking extra precautions at more difficult spots in the trail. Thank you for a great afternoon. Highly recommend

Segway Tour Recommended for New Riders - My husband and I are world-wide Segway tour riders and take every opportunity to book a tour when we are able though typically to see a city this time we wanted to do the rainforest. We had very limited time in Juneau and decided to book it on our day of arrival from our cruise ship. Since the pick up is right at the port/dock there were no issues finding our guide who drove us (and another couple who had never segway'd) up a highway to a large shoulder/parking area where he trained the new couple on its use. From this parking spot you can see the Mendenhall Glacier across the water. We then rode along the shoulder (bike lane) up the side of the highway (which overlooks waterway on one side and cliff on the other) for about 20 minutes and stopped to cross the street to observe a nice little waterfall. We then got back on the machines and rode along the shoulder for another 10-15 minutes coming to the entrance of a viewing section of the Lynn Canal where our guide talked about its historical and current use. Then following another 10 minute ride stopped at an entrance to the Tongass National Forest trail entrance where we got off the segways and hiked about 10 minutes through the rainforest down to the beach. This was by far the best part of the trip as it was beautiful and the guide was very informative about the plants and life of the surroundings. From there we simply segway'd back to the vehicle. So IF you're looking for a fun Segway trip this is not it as this is literally up the side of a road. It is very easy course for beginners though as there are no obstacles and you can familiarize yourself with a segway easily.
