Great experience - The adventure was great! We had a hiccup with booking as the vendor who spoke with us at the resort and he booked it incorrectly. However, it got sorted out and we had amazing time with PJ on the boogies and the Coco and Coffee tasting and exhibit. The zip lining was so fun and be prepared to walk ok lol.

Great day trip for families or couples - This package was well worth it. Very fun, hospitable and informative. PJ, Garry and Jose Manuel (the last two handled transportation, cultural info session) were phenomenal. Wear old shoes and clothing as you will get dirty from the mud from the buggies. Be prepared to climb a lot of steps from ziplining, but you can take your time. The care that the staff gives you is great. During the buggies, you get to see the countryside, experience the culture, coffee, cocoa, mamajuana. Just a great day excursion.

Buggies - We had an absolutely amazing time, from the beginning to the end, we left our Inn to get to the Check-out point, all along the way our guide explained to us the local customs as we passed through the villages, arrived at the Check-out point after 40 minutes, we met P.J who accompanied us throughout the whole ride in buggies, this man is exceptional, humorous all the time and little Trip Tip he will help you in all situations, he knew how to add something to the ride, which took all its meaning, plus the ride is really great, swimming in a river and discovering the Coco house where you learn how chocolate and local coffee are made. To do again without hesitation!!!

Great family excursion! - Buggies were great! Johnny was an amazing instructor, safe and fun. Only downside was no photographer for photos. Zip line was to die for! As someone afraid of heights I felt safe to do everything they stated. Would highly recommend when in Punta Cana. The chocolate and coffee is amazing!!!

Great family day out. - Very impressed with the instructors. Special shout out to PJ on the buggies. Toilet facilities were top class, hygiene, cleanliness, running water and the amount of toilets available. Bottled water provided throughout and plenty of drinking station with cold chilled water.

Good activities, less than ideal logistics - We had a good time zip lining and driving the buggies! The staff were very friendly. Drawbacks: how long it took to get to and from the ranch (we had multiple hotel stops there and back. It took almost 2 hours each time! We stayed at the Lopesan in Bávaro for reference) The number of times we had to wait to hear a sales pitch on their tobacco, alcohol, coffee, etc. The quality of lunch was low at best. Just a single hotdog and what tasted like a frozen empanada.

Be prepared- Waiting for other tours to end so we can fill the bus took like an hour. - I’m giving this a three-star review solely because of the zip line and buggy tour – they were the only redeeming parts of the experience and were so much fun! Our day started early; we were picked up from our hotel at 7 a.m. before any of the restaurants opened, so we didn’t have a chance to eat breakfast. It was myself, my husband, and our children. We weren’t dropped back off at our hotel until 5 p.m., they say there was not a reported delay but I have proof we were told that we would arrive back to out hotel by 3 pm NOT 5 pm Be prepared to be on this tour for nearly 10 hours, the only food provided was two small empanadas the size of ravioli, two tiny pieces of watermelon, and a hotdog. This is unacceptable for such a long tour. The tour itself was filled with excessive talking, tour guide and bus drivers (except for Jose he was nice and humble) PJ the tour guide had a very loud whistle that he found funny blowing it loudly in people's ears and that was very insensitive, loud and annoying. Instead of focusing on upselling, they should prioritize the experience of their customers. The bus ride back was sketchy. Nothing like what was promised. We were told we would have air-conditioned transportation to and from, but instead, we were crammed onto a bus with exposed windows and no AC . It was unbearably hot and loud, and the brakes seemed to be failing, making the ride feel unsafe. I mentioned to the driver how uncomfortable it was, but nothing was done to address the situation. Given the price we paid, this experience was not worth it at all. The transportation was disorganized and took up more time than the actual activities. This is really disappointing. The property itself is beautiful, and we enjoyed the zip lining and the buggy tour, but be prepared for a long day. Make sure to bring enough food and snacks, or you will end up starving like we did. The drive from the hotel to the location took about an hour and 15 minutes. The buggy tour lasted around 45 minutes, and the zip line took about an hour and 15 minutes at most. Unfortunately, we spent far more time on the bus and waiting around than we did actually enjoying the excursion. After the activities, it took another hour and 15 minutes just to get picked up from the zip lines waiting area, and then we had to wait another hour on the bus for other people to finish their excursions before we could leave. The combination of waiting, extreme heat, and hunger made the experience extremely frustrating and disappointing. The planning and organization by Runners Adventures were very poor. They responded to my review but failed to acknowledge my areas of concern!
