- Experienced divers know not to transition directly from a quarry to a 110’ deep ledge without prior ocean dives, prioritize excellent buoyancy control at all times, and understand the importance of avoiding excessive weight in case of an out-of-air emergency.
-
A good diver should be neutral at the bottom or slightly negative if you use Aluminum tanks, know how much weight they need, and not exceed the amount of lead needed to just get off the surface.
-When you get off the boat with too much lead, you have to constantly adjust your BC as you change depth. - A diver that can’t get off the surface because they are holding their breath and then crashes the reef as they descend needs to take a course in Peak Performance Buoyancy.

Were were promised a lunch. Yet, No lunch was provided. No credit was offered for it either.
Dives seemed to be cut short at about 40 min per dive. Dive leader Didn't follow dive plan, or have the other participants follow the rules. So believe the lack of sharks were due to letting the rest of group venture off the rules(stay above and behind the shark handler). Josh (no longer with enerald) wouldn't have allowed that to happen especially after the first dive.
Online waiver issues at boat check-in. Even though submitted the online waiver with email confirmation and signed copy I downloaded and presented at checkin, Randy (Captain) tried claiming they didn't have it online and I would have to redo it. This happens here 90% of the time. I didn't do it..but Randy later said they got it, as if I had just done it, so they had it all along, and just tried running me around in circles again.
My 10th and last dive with Emerald. IMHO there are better on point shark dive charters in the area.
