Highlights
- Borobudur Temple - This famous Buddhist temple, dating from the 8th and 9th centuries, is located in central Java. It was built in three tiers: a pyramidal base with five concentric square terraces, the trunk of a cone with three circular platforms and, at the top, a monumental stupa. The walls and balustrades are decorated with fine low reliefs, covering a total surface area of 2,500 m2. Around the circular platforms are 72 openwork stupas, each containing a statue of the Buddha. The monument was restored with UNESCO’s help in the 1970s

Amazing tour. - This is one of my bucket list and it didn't disappoint. The temples are great! The tour guides on both temples are very knowledgeable and gave a very good history of both temples. I can recommend this tour. Our driver was also great and go out of his way for our request.

Great experience with Rio in Jogya! - Rio is a great tour guide and very knowledgeable about the religion and history. He took care of us very well, driving us around, introduced us a very funny and knowledge guide Buddy in Borobudur. He also suggested us a lot of local food restaurants and food. He has also a very wide connection with local agency. So do look for him if you need more travel tour option in Indonesia!
