Your 3.5-hour experience will begin from our homebase in central Kaikōura. One of our legendary crew will take you on a 15-minute scenic shuttle ride to our “gear up” and staging location. Here you’ll be transferred to a custom-built Unimog 4X4 that will carry you through the intertwined streams of the Kahutara River, then onto Rakanui Station - a 3,000-acre working farm.
You’ll fly high above the rolling valleys covered in native-trees, and lush farmland, soaking up the incredible 360 degree views to Kaikōura and beyond.

Amazing adventure worth every penny... - Amazzzzzzzing!! From the staff in the office, to the shuttle bus guys and the girls on the zip line all very professional and informative. Thank you for helping me make a lovely memory with my daughter a one we will cherish. I was a little apprehensive but after the first zip line I was raring to go for the other 4!! A special shout out to Stacey and Kerri our guides for the day they were amazing and felt at ease and safe in their hands. We will definitely try the one on the north island on our next trip.

Amazing first zipline experience with unreal views! - Had an absolute blast on the 5 zipline routes with the good folks at Ecozip Adventures. My local guides, Alex and Keri were very professional, helpful and friendly! They also made it safe, fun and chill at the same time :)
Was on the 3pm tour and was lucky to be with a small group of 3 pax so it was nice and intimate.
Enjoyed the stories about the land and also learning interesting facts about native flora and fauna in the area. Transportation between the various spots was seamless, from taking us on a shuttle from the HQ office to the Kaikoura Airport to taking us through privately owned land to our first zip spot! Walking from zip spots to the next was also enjoyable, some slopes but nothing too crazy. After the whole experience, we were dropped off back at the start point (HQ office) back in town :) Can’t wait to bring my family and friends back here, I would highly recommend this must-do activity in Kaikoura!
The views of the mountain ranges juxtaposing the sea was unreal! This was my first time ziplining and will be a special memory to remember for a long time. Thank you for this amazing experience!

Outstanding experience. - Guides are super friendly, informative and kind. Rides were great fun and views from up there are absolutely WOW!
I am a 60+ solo lady with a wonky knee. They could not have been more helpful when I struggled with the steps and slopes at the beginning. Safety is absolutely top of mind and I felt very comfortable with it all.
Loved the ice-block stop, heaven on a hot day. 👍
You just have to do this !!
(Some bench seats at the stops would be a treasure.)

Do it! - My husband and I had never Zip lined before and wanted the experience at least once in our life. Being afraid of heights I wanted to challenge myself and help get over my fear. I did it, thanks to the awesome help of the two best guides, Stacy and Alex. They were professional, patient, funny! Stacy took her time and talked us through every step and did not hurry us on the first zip line run. She really made me feel safe. For me it was a once in a lifetime experience! Thank you Stacy and Alex you are both wonderful guides!

Zipping in the Trees - It was such fun! I had saved up for a whole year for this trip, since seeing it was opening up in Kaikoura, so the anticipation was high! The main guide was so positive, and encouraging, and friendly. The secondary guide was good too, but not as confident. We had awesome weather which helped too to make it special. The company was good at answering my questions prior to booking the tour.

Just do it - This was the one thing we really wanted to experience on our South Island holiday. We are a more mature couple shall I say (70yo) and were a bit nervous as had never done this before. Our guides Alex and Kerry were excellent, made us feel safe and were very well informed about all aspects of the beautiful surroundings and the how to's on zipping, so helpful. All the staff were so friendly and helpful, absolutely loved it although a bit scary at first, will be recommending this fantastic activity to anyone we know who is going to NZ. They also have another zipline on Waiheke Island off Auckland.

A must do if you’re into zip lines! - I had an amazing time, there are 5 zip lines altogether. I went as a solo traveller and Mathilde and Lydia were perfect guides on the trip and made me feel so at ease and safe! Highly recommend as the views of Kaikoura are brilliant from above, the guides even helped get videos of me….if you didn’t video it , it didn’t happen right?
They also gave good recommendations on where to eat for food and where else to go and visit during my time in New Zealand

Winning family day out - What an amazing early family Christmas gift to ourselves. My 10 and 14 year olds absolutely raving about it to all their friends. Even I, the risk adverse mum, absolutely loved it. Highly recommend to anyone. Amazing staff, who made the trip fun, safe and informative.
