Excellent and friendly staff - We had a great time, the pedal kayaks are the best kayaks I’ve been in very easy and steady. We saw seals and also luckily to see a few glimpses of dolphins. The staff were very friendly and informative. We had a great morning.

A pleasant afternoon - I was a little worried about my fitness level, but the peddling option was easy. You are just cruising slowly taking in the sites so there is no hard physical activity. The back support chairs are super. The weather was perfect, so very fortunate. Didn't see as many seals as I was hoping but that's just luck of the draw. The scenery and birdlife was great.

Amazing experience kayaking - Great experience! We changed our sunset tour to next day morning due to bad weather conditions. Our guide Logan is super friendly. Throughout our tour, he explain the history of Kaikoura. We managed to catch seals resting on the rocks and in the water. The leg-pedal kayak was also super fun and easy to use!

Kaikoura Seal Kayak is the KOOLEST - Pedal power is now the only way I travel! In an absolutely magical spot with a caring, knowledgeable and most awesome guide Logan we set out with my Mum to celebrate her 65th birthday spotting seals, spying on whale watching flights, navigating a glassy ocean and glancing back at the snow capped ranges - wow! The tour is easy enough for anyone to manage and special enough that to ensure it stays with you: highly recommend and will be back another time for sunset!!

Amazing stress free kayaking experience - We had a fantastic time at seal kayaking. Our guide Conor was fantastic, he gave us lots of information on the local area and the marine life in the area. We saw lots of seals around the rocks and we saw many seals swimming too. We were lucky to meet a pod of dusky dolphins that swam around us as well which was amazing. The kayaks were very comfortable and easy to use with little effort. A must do activity if you’re in the area or just passing through Kaikoura.

Immersed in Nature - We had an amazing experience - The whole tour was just amazing. Our guide was really nice and easy going; we could tell that he enjoys the trip too and he knew a lot about all the animals. We were actually really lucky as we got so see a kingfisher, four blue penguins, lots of sleeping seals, a seal feeding on an octopus (quite a show), and a humpback whale (30m from us). Together with the Kaikōura Mountain Ranges that led to one of the most incredible views we had throughout our entire New Zealand Trip. The Kayaks were really comfortable and we didn‘t get wet at all.

Add it to your list of Kaikoura activities - I went in early June and had a great time! Logan was our guide and he was super informative and took great care of the group. While its definitely a seal sighting tour, we were fortunate enough to see also pods of dusky dolphins which swam around our kayaks as we peddled out. Such an incredible experience! As for the peddling- its definitely a different experience to your traditional kayaks but if you dont have much leg strength then you’ll feel the burn! Also, take your travel calm if you’re prone to seas sickness. I didnt think i would be on a kayak but did feel a bit nauseous towards the end.

Seal Kayak Tour - We did the Seal Kayak Tour in May and it was fantastic! Our guide Conrad was friendly and knowledgable - we learnt so much during our tour! Also, he took really good care of us out in the sea - I had no worries at all. And of course, we saw so many NZ fur seals in their natural habitat - it was amazing! Highly recommend this tour and it was definitely one of our trip's highlights.
