The Great Mosque of Kairouan - The Great Mosque stands as the emblem of Kairouan. It is among the oldest and most stunning mosques globally, and one of the most remarkable monuments in the Maghreb! Its religious significance makes Kairouan the 4th holiest city in Islam. Visitors marvel at its towering minaret, the grand courtyard with impressive dimensions surrounded by beautifully designed arcades, a sundial, and the tall, intricately carved cedar wood doors. These doors lead to prayer rooms adorned with numerous marble columns. Constructed in 670, this architectural gem, resembling an adobe fortress, has inspired other mosques in the Maghreb.

Medina of Kairouan - The medina of Kairouan is one of Tunisia’s most well-preserved and authentic, where you can explore the souks, savor Kairouan’s pastries “Les Mekroudhs,” and witness traditional carpet making.

Shabikah - Chebika is a mountain oasis in southern Tunisia, located west of the Tozeur governorate.

Tamerza Canyon - Tamerza, or Tameghza, is situated 14 kilometers north of Chebika, near the Algerian border. It was a Roman and Episcopal defensive position during the Byzantine era. The road to Tamerza is winding, running along a large canyon for 10 km from Chebika. It was constructed during World War II when Rommel was besieged by the Allies from the North.

Decor Star Wars Tunisie - In the Tunisian desert, 14 km from Nefta and 38 km from Tozeur, George Lucas set his scene. The location is enchanting, drawing visitors out of curiosity. These same sets were used for filming episodes I and II of Star Wars.

Chott El Jerid - The Chott Djerid salt lake is the largest saline plain or sebkha in Tunisia, covering an area of approximately 5,000 km2. It is the largest sebkha in the Maghreb.

Douz - Douz, known as the “gateway to the Sahara,” is a city in southern Tunisia where you can admire a stunning Sahara sunset. You can also enjoy a quad trip on the sand dunes or a camel ride (optional).

Casas Trogloditas de Matmata - The city of Matmata is located in southeastern Tunisia, west of Gabès. It is an ancient Berber village spread across hills, characterized by rocky landscapes and offering a panoramic view from the mountain top. The village is home to unique troglodyte houses, where you can admire the beauty of underground dwellings. These houses are situated in underground pits shaped like caves, with each pit forming a circular courtyard decorated with designs and colors, and consisting of other rooms made of smooth mud. History enthusiasts are encouraged to visit this beautiful village, which attracts tourists from around the world on daily tours to discover underground life and learn about the customs and traditions of its inhabitants.

Amphitheatre of El Jem - The El Jem amphitheater is an outstanding example of Roman architecture, especially monuments built for spectacles, in Africa. Located in a plain in central Tunisia, this amphitheater, constructed entirely of dressed stone, is neither dug into the ground nor backed by a hill. It follows the model of the Colosseum in Rome but is not a mere copy of the Flavian building. Its dimensions (major axis of 148 meters and minor axis of 122 meters) and capacity (estimated at 35,000 spectators) place it among the largest amphitheaters in the world.
