Kathmandu - Gather in the hotel lobby and enjoy a scenic drive to Kakani, which takes about an hour. The hike begins at Kakani Memorial Park and concludes at Suryachaur Hill. Along the way, the trail winds through lush forests within Shivapuri National Park. This park, covering 159 km² (61 sq mi), is situated in the mid-hills on the northern side of the Kathmandu Valley. Upon reaching Suryachaur (1925m), visitors are treated to flat terrains offering panoramic views of the Thangshing Valley and majestic mountains such as Ganesh Himal, Langtang Range, Mt. Machapuchare, Mt. Gaurishankar, Godatape, Rauchuli, and many other Himalayan peaks. Afterward, return to Kathmandu for a hotel drop-off.
