Excellent experience - Perfect! Omar, our driver if you can say so, was not just a driver! He made us discover his country with so much knowledge and passion! A thousand thanks! Many thanks also to our guide in Dades Gorge, our guide Houssayn “Happy group, big babana 😁” of Todra Gorge and the family who received us in the camp in the Merzouga desert! Experience recommended! You can let yourself be guided with your eyes closed!

Best 3 nights with a great Guide - I joined with my mother. On the way to the desert, I was able to stop at various places and fully enjoy the nature and culture of Morocco. I looked at a lot of photos and stuff beforehand, and the desert I saw in person was so magnificent and moving that I can't put it into words. We were lucky enough to have a clear sky, so both the sunset and the sunrise were amazing. The starry sky seen from the desert was also beautiful. Camels were scary at first, but you get used to them, so it's okay. It will cause muscle pain lol Merzouga is quite far from Marrakech, and when I did my research beforehand, I was worried to see reviews that said it was difficult to get around, but I didn't find it that hard because I had a 30-minute break every hour or two, or an hour walking in nature by spots. However, you should definitely take some sobriety pills on your way home as you will be continuing on the mountain road. My mother and I looked pretty hard around lol There were 16 people on the tour, including us, from different countries and ages, but the people around us were very kind and enjoyed it. We played games on the bus, and there was a birthday party member who went with us and sang Happy Birthday. We didn't speak much English so we couldn't talk much, but everyone was kind and I was grateful for all the care they took. The Guide was Hamid, who was very cheerful and cared for us because we didn't speak English. I was worried about the tour being in English, but I'm not worried about that at all. I listen to the explanations of the local Guides at each spot, but I don't think there is a problem because you can fully enjoy it even if you don't understand it. In the Berber village there was a carpet exhibition and sale. We didn't buy them, but some of them went with us. It is not cheap considering the prices in Morocco, but I felt like I could negotiate a price. We were all applauding every time we reached a deal. It looks like I can pay with my card. I think it's better to think of everything else as cash only. Meals are self-financed during the day, and mornings and nights are included. It is around 140 dirhams per person during the day. We asked for one for both of us to share, and it was fine. It was just a bit of tagine day and night, so if you want to eat tagine in Morocco, you can go out of your way to eat it on this tour instead of somewhere else. At night, rice is included, but only drinks are always paid separately. We didn't serve alcohol in a desert tent overnight, so we all bought alcohol in a service area beforehand. You can contact us in advance for your accommodation so that we can pick you up nearby. On the way back, we would probably have to drop them off at the same place if we didn’t say anything, but we were going to stay at a different place from where we were going, so on the way back, we told them that we were going to stay, and they dropped us off at a different place. Since we use whatsapp to communicate with people until pickup, it’s a good idea to include the app in advance. In general, it was a very fun and moving two nights and three days. The prices are reasonable and it's a great way to explore the desert.
