- Saint Steven Monastery is closed on Mondays. Due to this fact, on this day of the week Rousanou Monastery will be visited
- The monasteries have a strict dress code: men must wear trousers and long sleeves, women must wear a long skirt. If you do turn up in shorts, trousers and skirts will be provided.

The tour that will change your life - JIM!!! We miss you. What an incredible experience. My girlfriend and I were in tears leaving this place. Stop what you are doing and find a way to go here ASAP
The tour bus is very nice and clean
The tour guide, Jim, will be one of the best human beings you will ever meet. His passion for the city, the religion, the country, the area, and you is something very special I have never experienced before. He does an absolutely incredible job of having you fall in love with the place, not too hard to do, but just learning so much and just breathtaking views. He takes you to the best spots at the best time, and you will not regret it.
I can’t wait to show this place to my friends and family one day. Also, ask him where to get the best souvlaki. It will not disappoint.

Choose this tour and guide! - We really enjoyed our sunset tour with Jim last Thursday. It was fantastic to have a guide that was so knowledgeable and with strong ties to the area. His personal stories really brought the tour to life!
The tour itself was varied and well-organised and brought us to various spots at just the right time for the light or avoiding other groups.
The bus driver (I forgot his name, sorry) was also super friendly and always welcomed us back on board!
I only wish I'd known to download the French audio guide app in advance so that my French stepson could understand all the details (this was one of the reasons I chose this particular tour). My Internet wasn't strong enough for it to work while on tour.

Awesome!! - Evan was an amazing guide! I was unsure what to expect in meteora and so I booked a tour to be safe and was very glad I did, as Evan explained the history of the area, as well as current traditions associated with the place. There were many walking tracks through the forest and not much signage, so it was good to get a feel for it before venturing alone. 10% was scrambling up steep rocks, but 90% was very manageable tracks for an average fit person.
It was so nice to walk through the forest and to lookouts, pretty much alone on this tour, because getting the public bus to the famous monasteries close to the road was very busy and touristy - completely different experiences!
Highly recommend! I'd absolutely do it again!

Excellent tour - Very well organised tour with multiple photo opportunities. We visited convent of St Stephan , ancient Cristian church built on the top of temple of Apollo and also saw hermit caves of the last hermit to live there.
Sunset views are simply stunning. One of the best sunsets I’ve ever experienced in my life.
