There is no better way to photograph Meteora - We had an excellent 2-day tour from Athens to Meteora with Christos and Konstantina. The communication about the logistics from Meteora were great - reliable and easy to follow. They booked us into comfortable 1st class cabins on the train, and a luxury coach for the return trip. Photographically, Christos was great. For me, as a keen amateur enthusiast, I was looking for someone to show me all the usual postcard locations, but also other hidden locations known only to locals. Furthermore, he was able to take us to locations where the photographic perspectives were interesting, at times when the light was good, and to avoid crowds. We were able to shoot until after sunset, and the following day from before sunrise. Christos was also able to teach some new aspects of photography appropriate to the scenes. I am shooting with 2 Z9 Nikon bodies, but my wife was using an iPhone, and for both of us, Christos showed us techniques relevant to each device. The food and accommodation were also very comfortable for our 2 day stay, at the Monastiri Guesthouse, and dinner at the new Ambrosia restaurant at Kalambaka. Eating and talking with Christos and Konstantina gave us a sense of Greek hospitality and a richer understanding of life and culture in Greece. Just wonderful to get to know some locals, whilst doing something we are passionate about - photography in one of the iconic sites of the world. All in all, this was a perfect way for anyone interested in photography to be able to see and shoot the amazing location which is Meteora.

Amazing Photo Tour w/ Chris & Konstantina - Chris and Konstantina were the most amazing hosts and guides in Meteora. They were so attentive and kind. Showed us all the best places and helped my husband and I learn how to take the best photos with his camera and my iPhone. They took us to dinner and answered so many questions. They drove us to remote places and kept us hydrated. They are two really wonderful human beings and this tour was the best we have ever had and the landscape is one everyone should see! There is nothing else like it anywhere.

Amazing Experience - Christos and Konstantina were incredible hosts! They took us around for two days and were so incredibly friendly and kind. We aren’t the biggest photographers but they were so helpful and informative nonetheless. They even took pictures of us with the scenery when we expressed that those are the pictures we value the most. We’d definitely recommend this event to anyone interested in a great experience in a magical place!

Awesome Meteora Experience - We booked their 2-day All-inclusive Photography Tour from Athens to Meteora by train. It was a remarkable experience. We were enthralled by the stunning and breathtaking landscapes, the knowledgeable, warm and personable team of Konstantina, Christos and Tom, and the overall experience. This tour provided the perfect platform for us to explore and capture the awe-inspiring beauty of Meteora. Konstantina, Christos and Tom were not only professional but also very warm and friendly. They brought us to spots with the best vantage points for capturing Meteora’s iconic monasteries, magnificent rock formations, and wonderful sunset and sunrise vista. We only used our iphone cameras, but they gave us guided and helpful tips. Christos showed us features of our iphone cameras and recommended photo apps. And they took photos of us as well. The itinerary was relaxed and well-paced, giving us ample time to take photos and immerse ourselves in the beauty and serenity of the surroundings. And the team’s friendly demeanor made the tour feel more like an adventure with new friends rather than a structured tour. They shared historical facts and personal anecdotes. Konstantina was very helpful and responsive, and patient with all our inquiries, from the time we booked until we left. The tour included snacks, meals and drinks; they made recommendations but they let you choose. The restaurants they brought us to were delightful with delectable food. The vehicle used (pick-up and drop-off at the Kalambaka train station and during the tour) was clean, well-maintained and comfortable. The accommodation provided (Monastariki Guesthouse) was clean, spacious and comfortable. It had a balcony that provided a wonderful view of the rock formations. The hotel staff were pleasant and welcoming. Marveling at the tranquility and awesome panorama of Meteora would have been enough for us, but we were glad we took this photo tour. The tour was a good combination of photography, exploration and cultural immersion and it was an unforgettable and enjoyable experience.

Fabulous solo tour in December - I've been on several photo tours, and this one with Christos to Meteora, Zagori and the Paleokarya waterfall was one of the best. Christos is a serious photographer and a great teacher, and his concern during the entire tour was for me to get the best photos I could. This was my first solo tour. I've been on group tours before, but there's nothing like the ease and convenience of one on one. Meteora is spectacular and the bridges in Zagori were really impressive. I'm very happy with the photos I took, and more importantly, I really enjoyed the company and hospitality of Christos and his lovely wife Konstantina. The accommodations were very comfortable, and the food was delicious. If you're considering doing this photo tour, don't hesitate! You won't be disappointed.

So you say you want a Greek photo tour… - I’ve had photo tours in the US, Cuba, Croatia, Spain, Italy, and S. Africa. This was likely the best. My non-photographer wife and I spent some two days touring and shooting. The scenery is of course fabulous, but the best part was the staff. Christos and Konstantina were professional and delightful. Chris’ local knowledge of the terrain, light, and viewsheds is peerless—he always had a new, untrodden place to take us. And best of all, he gives as little or as much advice and guidance as you want with your photography. I would recommend them without reservation. I think the best testimonial is that my wife who barely—barely—shoots with her phone was inspired to take up my old Fuji XT-3 at home and try her hand at photography! The only thing to be prepared for is that the train from Athens to Kalampaka takes 4 hours. A bit slow if you’re expecting Italian or Spanish hot rod rail.

2 day photo tour from Athens. - I do not know when I first heard about Meteora but I decided that when ever I will go to Greece I'll go there first. And I wasn't disappointed, much thanks to Konstantina and Christos. Even if Meteora is beautiful by itself, these guys made the trip extraordinary. Everything was top-notch, from the logistics (hotel, restaurant etc), to how they take care of you during the visit, show you to the best photo spots and also tell you all about the area and the monasteries. I highly recommend them if you want to get the most out of your visit to Meteora.

The highlight of our three week Greece trip!!! - The wonderful hospitality of Christos and Konstantina was the highlight of our Meteora photo tour! Right from the pick up at the Athens airport they were gracious, friendly and lots of fun!! On top of that they were so very knowledgeable of the Meteora sites and in particular the timing for photography throughout the day and night. I am a novice at photography and Christos's in depth knowledge of how and when to take spectacular photographs was unbeatable! I learned so much from him and am applying his insight even more now that I am home!! Thank you so very much Christos and Konstantina for an experience of a lifetime!!!

Unforgettable Photo Tour - My husband and I just got back from Greece and Meteora. We are not expert photographers and just used our iPhones to get photos. Our pictures turned out very good. Not only are the photos great but the overall experience as well. Christos and Konstantina are very personable and professional. We had a full experience that includes a good photo tour, interaction with locals ( they are both from Kalambaka), great hotel view and good food. We will never forget this tour and is one of the best we ever took. Where else would you want to have a photo tour than at this beautiful place? We will definitely recommend this tour to our family and friends. Hopefully, to be back sometime and meet Christos and Konstantina again. Thanks for a wonderful experience!
