Highlights
  • 173/22 Kavanagh St - Reclaim your relationship with food!

In this unique cooking experience, I will take you on a journey that starts with market fresh ingredients and ends at a soulful meal where ‘healthy’ meets ‘tasty’. All this, in the intimate home setting enjoying balcony views that stretch from Mt Dandenong over Botanic Gardens to the Port Phillip Bay.

I am passionate about exploring practical ways of simplifying food preparation in terms of ingredient procurement, time and effort. This class is totally for you if you care about nourishing your body with good food and are hungry to learn my secret of converting everyday meals into lifetime culinary joy. You will learn to marry taste with health at every step of the way with practical tips and tricks.

I only use best of local ingredients procured from our beloved vendors at the Queen Victoria or South Melbourne Markets.

To keep things real and fun for this experience, I have chosen my apartment kitchen over a commercial cooking setup. The idea is to keep things simple and enhance your experience in a personal setting.

I hope you enjoy as much as you learn with me

Additional Information

I reside in Southbank, where Melbourne’s essence truly thrives. Cuisine is a prevailing theme in this locale. A plethora of cafes, eateries, taverns, green spaces, and bazaars in the vicinity inspire me to fuse health, flavor, texture, hue, and aesthetics to elevate the culinary and gastronomic experience.

Join me on a quest to relish wholesome and palatable meals. Purify your system with pure vegetarian dishes, procured from our esteemed suppliers at Queen Victoria & South Melbourne Markets.

In our cooking class, we’ll collaboratively craft a three-course feast. The emphasis will be on culinary methods that optimize wellness and savor while reducing time and labor. You’ll acquire savvy notions on food procurement, preservation, eco-friendliness in the kitchen, and the art of dish arrangement and embellishment.

Thus, arrive with zest, hunger, and your epicurean tales to enjoy ourselves as we rekindle our bond with FOOD.

Australian cooking experience - Chef Su was amazing! Felt at home with her and she made everything look so easy! Also had a conversation with my daughter about things she was looking forward to doing while we are in Australia. She said to try authentic Indian food and Chef Su said come be my guest and I will cook you an authentic Indian meal. :)
