Great tour!! - Fabulous tour showing casing Akrotiri, red beach, black beach and a traditional Greek town, Megalochori. Loved our bus driver Andreas and our full of personality and so sweet tour guide Tanya! Would definitely recommend this tour to see these sites whilst you’re in Santorini 😁

Amazing Santorini tour with Tanya - What an amazing tour with such interesting stops, and our lovely, zany tour guide Tanya! We saw Akrotiri, Red Beach, stopped for lunch at Black Beach (Aquarius restaurant had the best food), and walked through the village of Megalochori! One of the best tours I did in Santorini! Tanya was wonderful and kept us so entertained!

An amazing family day out - best for children over 10-12yrs - We had the best day with the lovely Tanya! She can speak every European language fluently it seems, and is crazy about cats which was very entertaining! She took us to the Elias monestary, the historic village of Megalachori, a hike to the red beach and a guided tour of the ancient city of Arkrotiri. We finished the day with a late lunch and swimming at Perussia beach. A very good value tour, we have now done two Kamari tour trips and found them to be excellent.

Amazing! - Our guide for the bus tour on June 5th was amazing! So knowledgeable and kind and funny. The tour of the archeological site was wonderful. Seeing the 4,000 year old town that was preserved by the ash is unbelievable. Only wish would be that we could spend more time there.

Enjoyable, but too long - The day started with a visit to a local monastery, which was interesting to see. The tour to the local village wasn't particularly valuable. We stopped at a local bakery and walked through the village, pausing fairly regularly for the group to be counted. However, we were unable to nip into local shops and otherwise, didn't have time to look around. There is also very little shade so it does get very hot! We really enjoyed the visit to the Akrotiri excavation site and the guided tour provided. The guide was very interesting and knowledgeable. Because of the heat we opted not to walk down to the Red Beach. Our last stop was at Perissa beach where we enjoyed a nice lunch but decided not to swim due to time needed to dry off before boarding back on the bus. Overall, we enjoyed the tour, but felt it could have been far shorter in length and the stops for return trips re-ordered. Please note, there is no free wine tasting included with this tour as is mentioned once in the description.

Akrotiri excavations were... - Akrotiri excavations were amazing. Felt rushed and would have liked to see museum. The best part of the tour.

Find a smaller group tour - Covered a lot of interesting things but group size was unmanageable, particularly during the otherwise fascinating Akrotiri tour. Could not hear much of what was said. Group leader difficult to understand at times.

Terrible Experience with them in Santorini - My wife and I have been on over 100 excavations in our lives while on vacation. The tour booked with Kamari Tours was one of the worst ever. First, it was a 95 degree day and the bus they used had no air conditioning. Everyone was a miserable sweaty mess. Second there was no assigned seating so after every stop other people would move our stuff around. This forced us to move each time and an older gentleman on the bus ended up screaming at myself then a small child because we took his seat. The tour guide did nothing. She just watched as this man went off on a child for 5 minutes. Lastly, the information wasn’t good and most the time it was get off the bus for 20 minutes, look around and hurry and get back on. We ended up Ubering to the final destination as it just wasn’t worth it. I would get a smaller tour when you’re here from a different company.
