More than just the site - Tanya the tour guide with Kamari tours was great and seemed to be having fun! It was a good value. The archeological site is a separate fee because it is run by the government and the guide there will be specially trained and licensed. Only they are allowed to speak about archeology and historical at the site.

Well worth the money - Tania was so informative and had a lovely sense of humour. She really made the trip fun and we learnt so much. Akrotiri is just amazing and we loved walking through Megalochori too.

Great tour!! - Fabulous tour showing casing Akrotiri, red beach, black beach and a traditional Greek town, Megalochori. Loved our bus driver Andreas and our full of personality and so sweet tour guide Tanya! Would definitely recommend this tour to see these sites whilst you’re in Santorini 😁

A delightful tour but a possible revision of schedule needed! - This was a very enjoyable experience. Our tour guide was energetic and clearly loved her job which made it all the more worthwhile. The Akrotiri guide was informative and punctual and the bus was super comfortable! Overall as a trip we felt that it was too rushed and that it was more a matter of quantity over quality. I went with 4 family members and they all agreed that it would have been better to not bother with the Red Beach at all and instead use that 30 minutes saved at the lovely Megalochori village (our second stop for the day only 30 mins long but so much to see). The Red Beach was simply a 15 minute hike to view the cliffs from afar, to then hike back again which we felt wasn't worth it. Honestly-speaking everything was wonderful but I do think they should try to revise the schedule. I'd be interested to know if others felt similarly.

Back in time 4000 years ago - The archaeological excavation at Akrotiri was amazing. The guide was knowledgeable and funny. Red Beach was a great and worth seeing an unusual phenomenon. Tour guide was great but talked a lot.

Dissapointed unsuccessful trip - I have booked this trip for my son,s birthday and was for the beaches red beach and the perivolous beach as swimming as very hot here on 26 of September we been picked up around 10:30 am then been dropped at Pyrgos stop somewhere left there and waited 1 hour for bus no 9 , we did 30 minutes nectarine church then 40 minutes megalochoris village then stoped at the excavation arheologichal site where we should do the red beach and never happened as described , so we stared down where buses stop is and we just relax there the guide she never brought us to the Red Sea as is mentioned in the description 6-7 hours never happened this timing as after we been brought back to Perissa beach where we stay and been collected from so at 3 pm we been told the trip is finished so around 3 hours and 25 minutes was the total trip so dissapointed as was a gift present for my son and have informed them in time about it I could do any other tours so sad and they do not even recognise their unprofessionalism but pointed on me what????? Santorini is not what used to be they are only after our money as have asked for other trip in order to see Oia and been told that I am looking for free trip really ????

Communication is a problem. Avoid this tour. - There was miscommunication about pickup and meeting place, so we missed the ride and the tours. We paid 60 euros for a taxi to take us to Akrotiri and had to locate and pay for 2 buses to take us back to Oia via Fira, as the only taxis we could find near us in Akrotiri were reserved for someone else. The tour person I spoke with on the phone was rude and not helpful. This was not the tour I had expected, booked, and paid for. I will not recommend them ever! However, I would like to be reimbursed. Any suggestions?
