Gorilla tracking - We went to the Bwindi park in January. It was an incredible experience and a long drive from Kampala was worth it. Seeing gorillas in their natural habitat was beautiful. I want to thank the staff and particularly our driver Uzaima for his patience, knowledge and very interesting conversations.

Amazing experience. You... - Amazing experience. You have a lot of time with the Gorillas and it honestly is something special. Lake bunyoni afterwards was a nice change of pace coming from Kampala. Everything was well arranged and the driver was very skilled.

Out of this world… - Thank you so very much to our wonderful and beautiful guide Eli for the most amazing experience and exposure to Uganda. From the moment he picked us up perfectly on time to when he dropped us back at Entebbe airport, we felt safe, secure, we learned so much and we had the most spectacular experience with the family of Gorillas in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest, it was hard to believe we were actually there! The team at Home to Africa ensured we had a seamless trip and we all fell in love with Uganda and are so grateful for what you are doing to preserve these amazing animals and their habitat - we are just so lucky to have been given the opportunity to visit their world. Their accommodation choices at Bwindi and Lake Bunyonyi also just spectacular. Thank you Eli and Home To Africa from the bottom of our Australian hearts ♥️

Wonderful experience - The experience has a whole was a straight and clear 10/10 Home to Africa not only provides you with a feeling of safety, especially when travelling alone, it also gives you a holistic insight through their knowledgeable , professional and polite tour guides, accommodating your every needs, telling you about the history of the country and places where you go through. I would definetly recommend it as the rates offer a good price x quality combo. I would also like to extend a word to everyone thinking of booking with the agency, ask for the guide Jimmy Ocen, a young energetic person, cult in the history of the country , comprehensive and thoughtful, capable of bettering your experience in a holistic sense. Will definitely return in the future, as soon as the opportunity presents itself. Uganda surprised me as a whole, loved the experience.

UGANDA - Have cash on you as not all facilities have working EFTPOS machines. Tipping is widely used. From the porters/guides to the trackers and hotels/ staff. Have cash on you to place in the tipping boxes located in most of the lobbies. Take gloves for the gorilla trek as you will probably be reaching to hold onto tree limbs and various vegetation. Also gaiters or long socks to tuck your long pants into.. you will probably be scratched by the vegetation. Home to Africa had absolutely everything in hand and made our experiences in Uganda unique and informative. We absolutely loved all of it. Eli, our esteemed driver/guide was a pure delight. Easy going, and happy to explain things as we went. Even stopped at great coffee spots to fulfill my coffee addiction! All in all we are already thinking of a return visit to this amazing country! Uganda won us over, big time! Thanks to all the team who put this together for us.

I will do it again. - Our adventure in Uganda was nothing short of magical! Derick Remember, our guide, made every moment memorable. It was stunning, from the scenic drives through Uganda’s landscapes to the welcoming villages and towns. The highlight; Trekking through Bwindi Forest, harvesting some wild fruits, and coming face-to-face with majestic gorillas. It was surreal, emotional, and something we'll never forget! Though I didn't expect it to be such a long walk, it was fulfilling. Comfortable lodges, delicious local food, and flawless planning by our travel guide made this trip perfect. If you're looking for an adventure that will leave you in awe, this is it! Thank you, Derick and the Ronick staff for this unforgettable experience!

Short but sweet 3 day tour, giving you the best of Uganda! - The trip started wonderful the second that Eli with Home 2 Africa picked us up, and never stopped being wonderful! Due to the amount of distance between Entebbe and Bwindi, we had a ton of driving, which we knew while booking, but Eli made sure to stop and show us everything he could along the way, breaking up the drive and giving us such an amazing experience! The gorilla trekking was better than I could have dreamed of, the accommodations were beautiful, clean and welcoming, the scenery stunning, and I can only hope to be able to do this entire trip again some day! Thank you Eli and Home 2 Africa!

4-Day Trek - We cannot recommend Home to Africa enough! The company was extremely accommodating, allowing us to start our trek in Kigali and end in Kampala. They even combined the 5-day and 3-day safaris to give us a perfect 4-day itinerary. The gorilla trek was a once in a lifetime experience, the game drive and boat tour around Queen Elizabeth National Park was beautiful but it was our tour guide Rolland who absolutely made the trip for us. He was extremely knowledgeable, very helpful and most importantly, he was great fun!

Best experience ever with the best guide ever. - This is my second safari like trip this year. One in Tanzania and this one in Uganda and I have learned that so much of the time experience relies on your guide. Roland from Home to Africa was one of a kind in terms of making sure we got the most out of our experience. We had an incredible time witnessing the beautiful gorillas and extended our trip to visit Queen Elizabeth National Park. Once in a life time experience. Huge thank you to Roland and the Home to Africa team for making it so special for us.
