Day 1: Bwindi Impenetrable Forest

Bwindi Impenetrable National Park - Early morning pick up from your hotel in Kampala /Entebbe to start your drive to Bwindi. We will have a stopover at the Equator in Kayabwe . Lunch in Mbarara and proceed to Bwindi impenetrable national park.

Gorilla Trek

Bwindi Impenetrable National Park - After an early Breakfast and briefing from the guide, set off for the gorilla trekking in the Forest Sanctuary, the activity starts at 8.00 am. The rangers will provide you with walking sticks and your driver will ensure that you have enough drinking water.

Game Drives, Boat cruise

Queen Elizabeth National Park - After breakfast, you will head for a game drive through Kasenyi sector, watch out for the Albert endemic birds and Cape buffalos, elephants, waterbucks, leopards, spotted hyenas and a variety of antelope species.
In the afternoon head for a unique 2hour boat cruise on the Kazinga Channel and into Lake Edward. This trip passes through possibly the highest concentration of hippos and many animals may be seen drinking at the water’s edge. This launch cruise offers an excellent platform for photography, bird watching and game viewing. The prolific bird life is colorful and stupendous with well over 550 resident species

Chimpanzee tracking-Return to Entebbe/Kampala

Kyambura Game Reserve (Kyambura Gorge) - Early breakfast at the lodge and head to the Kyambura Wildlife reserve for chimpanzee tracking. Kyambura is one of Uganda’s most impressive corners. Kyambura gorge is also known as ‘the valley of the apes’, this gorge is around 100m deep and 1km across. You will trek down into it and you’ll feel like you’re in an underground forest, home to diverse wildlife and dazzling birdlife. After the trek, you will embark on your journey back to Kampala/Entebbe.
