Entebbe - Arrival at Entebbe international airport, meet and greet with our representative from nkuringo safaris then transfer to the hotel.

Fly from Entebbe – Kasese Airstrip

Kibale National Park - After breakfast you will be transferred from The boma lodge to Entebbe international airport to catch a scheduled domestic flight to Kasese airstrip and the flight is scheduled to depart at 8:30 am and arrive at 10: 00 am

Upon arrival you will be transferred to Primate lodge to check in then relax at the lodge or do some optional activities such as Bigodi swamp excursion.

Chimpanzee tracking in Kibale national park

Kibale National Park - In the morning chimpanzee tracking in Kibale National Park. The density and diversity of primates in this park is the highest in the whole of Africa. The most well-known of its 13 species are the chimpanzees, our closest relative. Kibale’s 1450 chimpanzee population of this threatened primate is Uganda’s biggest. Additionally, Kibale is home to the uncommon L’Hoest’s monkey as well as East Africa’s biggest population of the endangered red colobus monkey. The black & white colobus, red tailed monkey, blue monkey, olive baboon, grey cheeked mangabey, bush baby and potto are among the other primates which ca be seen here.

Queen Elizabeth National Park - After Tracking you will be transferred from kibale national park to Queen Elizabeth national park for approx. 3 hours and upon arrival you will check in at the lodge, have lunch then go for an evening game drive

Queen Elizabeth National Park

Kazinga Channel - Morning dedicated to game drives in Queen Elizabeth National Park and to the boat trip on the Kazinga Channel - the 36 km waterway which connects Lake George and Lake Edward and which allows special viewing of game and birds on the river banks, as the boat passes through pods of hippos. Crocodiles have only recently been seen in the Channel, they disappeared for 8,000 years after they were eliminated from Lake Edward by toxic ash from local volcanoes.

Drive from Queen Elizabeth to Bwndi impenetrable natonal park

Bwindi Impenetrable National Park - Drive through the southern sector of Queen Elizabeth national park to Buhoma for 4-5 hours, go for lunch then meet with your Walking safari for briefing before you proceed for the hike across the forest from Buhoma to Nketo and it takes 4 hours and its 13Km to Nteko ridge then you will meet a vehicle ready to transfer you to the lodge.

Gorilla tracking in Bwindi impenetrable national park

Bwindi Impenetrable National Park - After breakfast, at around 7:45 am for Nkuringo tracking and 6:30 for Rushaga tracking, with packed lunch and drinking water you will be transferred to the National Park Head Quarters for the briefing on the dos and the don’ts while with the gorillas. You then continue to the forest for the start of the actual gorilla tracking.

Fly Kisoro to Entebbe

Kisoro - Transfer for a 2hour drive from the lodge to Kisoro Airstrip for the scheduled flight to Entebbe and connect for your outbound flight.

The thrill of spending time observing these gentle and endangered giants is an awesome, exciting experience to be long savored. Many find it to be a rare and moving opportunity. The tracking can take place at Nkuringo or at Rushaga (1hr drive from Nkuringo), as per the gorilla permits obtained.
