Andrew was awesome - We had Andrew as our guide, he was great. Told us the history of the areas we traveled to and was on time. He was engaging and fun. All the guides Gabriel, Hakeem and Onesmus were also great as well. It was worth every penny

Great tour with local experts! - Great tour with Andrew all the day to/from Kampala. Really appreciated that we also met with local guides at each stop - Sezibwa falls, Mabira rainforest and the Nile river boat trip. The local guides had excellent local knowledge and were able to respond to all our questions. Also appreciated that we were able to stay longer at some sites, and that there was some flexibility in the programme. Definitely recommend!

Wonderful tour with little extras - This tour was amazing and we really enjoyed it. Our tour guide Williams is the best. He showed us everything and bought us some fresh mangos and bananas from the market. As we drove through the sugar cane plantations, he also asked a worker if he could have two sugar canes for us. Besides the activities included in this tour, it was the little things that count. We would definitely recommend this tour.

Day trip to Jinja - A great way to see the Ssezibwa falls, which besides being a nice waterfall has some interesting animistic offering sites. Don't forget to bring an egg for the python, otherwise he won't come out! The Mabira rain forest at Griffin Falls Camp (recommend the longer 2.5 hr circuit) is a highlight; I saw mandibees and red tailed monkeys, crested hornbills and other birds. The guides were very informative and enthusiastic about the reserve and eco tourism. The White Nile source is an interesting spot, but it's worth keeping an eye open for wildlife along the way. I was lucky enough to see otters and a cobra (!) swimming, but there should always be something to see. In the restaurant I recommend the Tilapia as it's fresh and delicious.

Couple Tour - I’d highly recommend booking this experience. From a first timer in Uganda, this tour is a mandatory requirement for those coming. The tour was fun and I enjoyed every second of it.

Highly recommended day trip! - Had a fantastic day trip to Jinja with Steven. Lots of interesting stops on the way seeing waterfalls, villages and Ugandan countryside. I especially enjoyed the walking tour through Mabira forest with its stunning flora and fauna. Steven was wonderful to spend the day with, as he is very knowledgeable and considerate.

Exactly the whirlwind tour I was looking for! - I only had one day to spare in Kampala and wanted to see as much of the countryside as possible. This tour delivered! It was definitely not a leisurely day, trainers and comfy clothes were a must, but that is exactly what I wanted. Anthony, my all-day tour guide, picked me up on time and was very helpful and knowledgeable. He pointed out lots of geography and local knowledge, assisted me in understanding when and how much to tip, when to be mindful of local custom, and I found him to be jovial and willing to adjust. For example, when I found myself too tired to make the last stop on the tour he graciously brought me back to Kampala, though as the only person on the tour that day I think this was easier than if I had been in a group. At several stops we had a site-specific tour guide whom we met on arrival (Alex at Ssezibwa Falls, Deo at Granite Falls/Mabira Forest and Onesmus at Jinja/Source of the Nile). Each was kind, full of information and questions led to interesting conversations. At Ssezibwa Falls and Granite Falls/Mabira Forest you are definitely going to traverse terrain that requires at least trainers, but could definitely benefit from hiking boots. I wore cropped hiking pants and there was one section in Mabira at the Falls where I had to be careful of biting ants on the ground level foliage - full length pants would have been better, but I managed and Deo was great to point out which plants to avoid touching. I had a lot of fun with Onesmus in Jinja as he boated me through the source of the Nile as well as fish and chips, Jinja style (deep fried whole tilapia and chips), strolled me through lots of history, monuments, the central marketplaces and even my first boda boda ride! He also owns a small clothing shop for men in Jinja and was a great help in directing me to some stylish kitenge for my sons back home. You do spend a good amount of time traveling from site to site by car, but the roads are never boring in Uganda and Anthony did well to point out features all the way - including the street food stop in Mukono where the Muchomo and Matoke were amazing. This tour gave me the most coverage for the time had, and definitely inspired me to return and spend a longer time in some places (Mabira Forest and Jinja for certain!).

Jinja solo experience - First, I booked my trip really late and initially thought it was short notice for the company and I wouldn’t make it. But they came through for me, as a solo traveller, the pickup car was right on time and my guide Andrew gave me the best experience, from exploring local delicacies to even enjoying myself on the road and different places. My favorite was the Ssesibwa falls, lots of history there!!! And of course I got to experience the Nile beer on the Nile River, which was just beautiful, I learnt a lot of facts about both Nile River and Lake Victoria. The Jinja village tour was also a great experience and I was able to do some shopping as well. But, next time use a car with windows that are clear and not tinted, I would have loved to take videos during the drive but couldn’t because I couldn’t clearly see the outside. But, all in all it was a beautiful experience, I also recommend one to spend the night over in Jinja as this was a packed day from 7am to 6pm. Traffic was just messy too.

Unfortunately we were... - Unfortunately we were unable to go on the tour as our booking was missed by the tour operator. Viator, the provider insisted that it was our responsibility to have contacted the local tour agent despite getting email confirmation & the money being taken from my credit card!!
