Depart from your accommodation in Kampala at 6 am and head towards Lake Mburo, with water provided during the journey. Upon arrival, enter the park and embark on a three-hour guided drive with the Uganda Wildlife Authority Guide, enjoying the opportunity to see a variety of wildlife including buffaloes, zebras, leopards, various antelopes, warthogs, and one of the few places in Uganda to spot zebras.

Enjoy lunch (at your own expense) by the lake—there are five lakes within the park—and then take a boat ride along the shore. This offers a chance to see crocodiles, numerous hippos, and a wide array of bird species.

Afterwards, say goodbye to the park’s welcoming staff as you begin your return journey to Kampala. The drive, approximately four hours, takes you through stunning hilly landscapes and lush farmland.

On the way, stop at the Equator for photos and the ‘polar-water experiment’, visit Mpabire Village known for its local drum-making, explore gardens, craft shops, and fruit markets. Conclude your tour by returning to your hotel around 5 pm.
