Amazing vacation with Pearl Nature and Denis! - I had a fantastic holiday in Uganda planned by Denis who is simply brilliant! He was well organised, always on time and had the right contacts throughout Uganda. It felt super safe and enjoyable. Denis is a former ranger who has great knowledge of birds and wildlife. I would highly recommend Pearl Nature Holidays to anyone looking for a trip to Uganda.

Safari, gorilla , chimps and cultural trip - This is our second trip with Pearl Nature Holidays and Denis.
This trip was amazing again, everything was arranged down to the last detail.
Professional knowledge, driving skills and local contacts that Denis know to bring our 40the wedding anniversary to a maximum, an experience that we will never forget.
Gorillas at 2 meter, chimps next to you, Rhinos at less than 3 meter, lions and leopard in trees, meting the local people and making your own coffee, the complete process and see how local yogurt is made. Meeting with the Batwa people at there own village.
Very good quality lodges properly choosen.
Denis thanks again for these unforgettable 14 days.

To 3. Mal in Uganda with Denis - We did a 3-week tour of Uganda with Denis
For us it was the third visit of this beautiful country, which we like so much and therefore took daughter and son-in-law
Denis not only organized the gorilla and chimpanzee trekking excellently, but also brought us very close to his home. So we visited his home village and his family for the second time, where we were warmly welcomed.
Denis is socially committed, supports his family and many other people who are not doing so well. He has a good eye for the animals.
Every Hobbie photographer appreciates it.
I think we won't have visited him and his country for the last time

Uganda is amazing... - My man &I joined the very knowledgeable and pleasant Onyiko Denis for our first trip to Uganda, having booked to specifically be with Gorillas, which was absolutely stunning and such a privilege to be within a natural, at ease, wild but habituated family group. The Chimp trek day was also amazing...as was our varied accommodation. Uganda has so much more, too.. if that's possible!!..as we saw amazing amounts of other wildlife, elephants, hippos, zebra, giraffes, Impala, waterbuck, crocs, the list was endless, which we hadn't anticipated. Uganda is so very worth a visit, especially as tourism funds are essential to Conservation for the precious animals & the communities, so much in need.

Visit to Queen Elizaneth National Park - We visited QE National park with chimp trek. Everything was well organized and our driver was excellent. Accommodation perfect. Fair business partner. I recommend the tour operator for your trip in Uganda. Best services for the lowest price. Thank you again. Another think is that I would never visit or suggest Queen Elizabeth park; no big herds and no big variety of animals could be seen.

Exceptional - I went with Pearl Natural guided by Denis the amazing. He arrange fully packed schedule as i had limited time. He made very thing possible and extremely smooth travelling from one place to another with 8 days. I saw almost every highlights of Uganda (Murchison falls, chimps experience, gorrilla trekk in Bwindi, lions searching, girraf, hippos, driving across forests, local communities, River Nile, did white water raffting, and reached the equater) it was such an amazing an unforgettable experience. I chose mid range hotels ... all of them were above exceptional with 5 star accomodation and service. I would highly recommend Pearl Natural Holidays, solid company with highly experienced and well connected guide, Denis the Amazing.

Simply the best in every way possible! - Where do I even start?!... This trip was simply the best!!
A dream come true times a million!!
I could literally write a book on how wonderful Denis and Uganda are but I will try to keep it to the point!!
I had very high expectations for this trip, it was a dream for many years and it would have been easy to feel a little disappointed or underwhelmed with such high expectations.
However, Denis at Pearl Nature Holidays ensured it exceeded every single one of my expectations and I had the time of my life!
I can not thank you enough Denis, for not only making my dream a reality, but making it everything I hoped for and so so much more!
After contacting Pearl Nature Holidays in 2019, Denis began putting together my dream itinerary.. I gave him an extensive list of activities and experiences I wanted to pack into a very short amount of time and he got to work immediately.
Because of the pandemic the trip was postponed several times but Denis checked in with me on a regular basis, he kept me updated with the situation in Uganda and we built a lovely friendship.
When we could finally book, Denis took care of everything.. finding & booking the accommodations, travel, excursions, game drives, permits, food etc the only things we had to sort ourselves were flights, vaccines and entry visas.
The accommodations Denis chose for us were faultless and all within our tight budget. The staff were incredible, the food, tea and fresh juices were gorgeous and all the beds were the most comfy I have ever slept on!! My favourites were Ihamba Residence & The Chimpanzee Lodge.. but I couldn't fault any of them!
The safaris were out of this world.. having been to Kenya years ago this trip had big boots to fill but I can say without a doubt that Uganda is worlds above Kenya and the safaris we're unbelievable. We did foot, jeep & boat safaris and I loved every moment of every one!
Uganda itself is such a beautiful country. The people are the kindest, friendliest and most caring I've ever met, the wildlife is abundant, the weather beautiful and the food is delicious... not to mention they make the best tea on the planet!!
I felt extremely safe, respected and welcome wherever we went in Uganda (this was a concern for us when booking, as we were a group of three young females) but as soon as we arrived this concern was put at ease.
Because Denis has built such a great foundation for his business with other business owners and being a former ranger himself, he is able to give you an experience like no other
Denis, Denis, Denis... what a wonderful human being!!!
Professional, extremely knowledgeable, respectful, caring, fun and hilarious!
Not only does he care about his clients having an authentic and enjoyable trip, but he truly cares about the wildlife and always puts their welfare first which is extremely important when choosing a safari guide.
Always happy to answer any questions we had and loved to teach us about the local culture and communities.. we learnt so many fascinating facts.
Being a ranger previously has given Denis first hand knowledge of the animals and parks and he was dedicated to giving us the most incredible safari experience we could have.
Denis is also heavily involved in supporting and caring for the local communities and with his foundation Onyiko Foundation he is doing wonderful things, it is truly heroic.
If you are considering a trip to Uganda, all I can say is don't hesitate a moment longer. Book with Pearl Nature Holidays and I guarantee you will have the time of your life while supporting amazing work.
Pearl Nature Holidays.. thank you!
Denis.. until next time my friend.. thank you for everything!

Truly a trip of a lifetime with the most amazing guide - Denis! - There is just SO MUCH to say about Pearl Nature Holidays, about Denis, and about Uganda in general so I will do my best to sum it all up here.
First and foremost, my group and I (there were 3 ladies in my group) had been talking with Denis since 2020, and because of COVID our trip had to get pushed back a few times but Denis never gave up on us and our dream itinerary. He constantly had to change lodges and some of the plans due to the pandemic, but he always made sure to find places that suited our budget and that still went along with everything that we wanted to do.
During the few years that we talked to Denis ahead of our trip we all forged a friendship with him. Denis is kind, authentic, and truly cares about not only his clients, but he also truly loves his country and the people and animals that live here. He always made sure to put animal welfare ahead of anything else by respecting their space and the fact that they are wild animals that need to be respected as such. Denis used to be a ranger, and because of that he has garnered a deep understanding of the parks and the animals that life in them, but also a deeply rooted love for them, as well. Unlike other guides that we came across, Denis never baited wildlife with food so that we would get a close encounter - which was something that I will always appreciate about him. Denis is a true steward of the earth and he lives his life as such. Also, he was a very safe driver and his jeep was not only comfortable, but also so fun to travel in!
Aside from how amazing Denis was, Uganda as a whole is simply breathtaking. The people are the most welcoming and friendly that I have ever encountered, and the country is almost too beautiful to put into words. There landscape is diverse and ever changing, from lush jungles to hills and hills of tea plantations, to savannas that extend as far as the eye can see. We never once felt unsafe or unwelcome. Also, the food! Oh my goodness - the fruit juices and the soups were some of the best I've ever had.
Lastly, the gorilla trekking was something that we will never forget. Denis arranged for us the perfect location to start our treks, and because of his reputation in the communities we were able to stay at a few very special places that normally we wouldn't have been able to.
I would recommend Denis 1000000%, so much so that I am already planning a trip back to Uganda with Denis in 2024!

Fascinating country with a great Guide - The best part about our trip was our guide/trip organizer, Denis, and the many friendly locals we met. Denis was always prompt, knowledgeable, and engaging. He normally ate his meals with us, and was able to provide many details about Uganda. We took a 13-day trip that covered over 2000 kilometers and included many varied activities. The accommodations he selected were comfortable, clean, and chsrming. We especially enjoyed tracking the rhino’s, chimpanzees, gorillas, and a small boat ride to get up close to 100s of hypos. The roads were unexpectedly good for travel except in the National parks where they were in paved, very dusty and bumpy. The biggest negative about the trip was the sparsity of a variety animals in the National parks. Lions/leopards/ cheetahs were practically non-existent. Queen Elizabeth National Park was especially disappointing. (We have been spoiled by safaris to Kenya snd South Africa). The advertised “tree climbing lions” were not found. Suggest you travel to Uganda during a season when it isn’t so dry and hot that the animals don’t show up. If we ever go back we would not hesitate to use the outstanding service of Denis, owner of Pearl Nature Holidays.
