Excellent safari/adventure through Uganda and Rwanda! - We spent 13 days exploring Rwanda and Uganda with Nkuringo Safaris. Patrick Yiga (our driver/guide) provided expert, attentive, safe and personalized service throughout our safari/adventure. We were particularly impressed with Patrick’s commitment to providing the best possible safari experience even if it cut into his personal time. Patrick has a keen eye for wildlife along with expert knowledge of wildlife habitats and behavior. He used his excellent rapport with park rangers and other safari guides to exchange tips on wildlife sightings and make impromptu decisions to ensure we did not miss special sightings. He kept our safari vehicle tidy and well stocked with ice-cold water throughout our journey. Patrick is young enough to be energetic and enthusiastic, but old enough to have gained expertise in safari guiding. Nkuringo Safaris patiently answered our pre-trip questions regarding gorilla trekking and detailed tipping guidance. They also provided a comfortable, newer Land Cruiser for our entire stay. They were instrumental in planning a well-organized safari with excellent time management and selection of accommodations for our mid-range pricing. We highly recommend Nkuringo Safaris and Patrick Yiga if Uganda or Rwanda are in your travel plans!

A really great adventure. - What a fabulous safari guide and location. Our guide, Milton, is well educated on nature, wildlife and biodiversity and was the perfect companion for four days of African safari. Milton took us right to the front of the line for wilderness adventures and wildlife viewing. We'd seen 3 of the 5 within 20 minutes of our plane touching down. Murchison Falls Park is for sure one of the best locations for safari, the wildlife is abundant and there are much fewer tourists in this area. Most times during the viewings we were the only land cruiser in sight. Leave your telephoto lens at home, you wont need it. The wildlife is at your doorstep.

Unexpected superlative experience - We had a super stay at Nile safari lodge. Everybody was just lovely and Precious our butler, served us very well. We exchanged cultural story telling. Our safari guide Patrick Yiga treated us as family, was so knowledgeable wanting us to have the best experience possible. Our boatman Isaac and Patrick knew all about the Ugandan birds and during the trip I saw 34 different types of bird.
