Great walking tour with local guides - À nice walking tour to see the real old Kampala with a local guide. We went to visit the Kaddhafi Mosque, with great information about the history of the monument. We then went to visit different markets and a hindou Temple. Our two guides, Nasser and Malik were both very kind.

Great tour, Malik was perfect! - We had an approximately 6-hour city tour with Malik. He is the perfect guide: very sympathetic young man with a thorough knowledge of Kampala and Uganda. I really couldn’t ask for a better city tour experience.

ENTUSIASMANTE - The city tour was very interesting and exciting. Strolling through the streets and markets of the city has really made us get into the heart of the life of the population. Our NAsa guide that we had already met on the Nile source hike is very good company and is very passionate. Seeing the taxi rank is a unique experience. The mosque is very nice. I recommend this excursion

The best walking tour in Kampala - We only had one day in Kampala, and these guys helped us make the most of it. Nasser and Malik are excellent tour guides. They not only know everything about the city, but they are also great people. So, if you want to have the best experience and support local tour operators, there's no better option than booking with Ondaba. PS: We booked it only two hours in advance, and even with that short booking period, they arranged everything for us.

Authentic experience in Kampala - The tour with Nasser was wonderful. I appreciated his knowledge and the fact that he tailors the tour for people’s desired level of activeness and courage. I would not have felt empowered to navigate the markets by myself because it’s intimidating as an outsider, so it was really great to have him as a guide. If you are visiting a mosque, I would recommend bringing your own head scarf if that is your preference. I wasn’t a huge fan of sharing with people, and the one that I borrowed felt itchy to me. The Gaddafi mosque is somewhat of an athletic climb so bring that water bottle. Overall, the tour is a great way to better understand the daily experiences of people living in Kampala from the perspective of someone from the region. Happy travels!

Perfect Introduction to Kampala: A Must-Do Tour! - This tour was absolutely incredible! There was so much to see and learn about the rich history and development of Kampala. Our guide, Malik, was fantastic—he shared fascinating insights throughout the tour and allowed plenty of time to fully absorb the experience and capture photos along the way. It's the perfect introduction to Uganda. If it's your first time visiting, I highly recommend starting your trip with this tour!
