Must do walking tour with Fridaus in April 2024 - This was a great experience for me. I had a lovely guide, her name was Fridaus, she was knowledgeable, kind and made me feel safe in what is a very busy city! It was just me on the tour which was really great as we got to talk. She went over and above to help make the experience great for me. It was good to walk through all the markets, obviously there are lots of different sights and smells! Kampala is not an easy or prosperous city. I enjoyed the arts & crafts market and bought a lovely bark print there which I now have framed and hanging at home. It was hot but they provide water. It was fun to end my time with a ride on a boda boda back to my hotel. I felt safe as Fridaus spoke to the driver and set me off on my way. I had wanted to experience more of Kampala beyond my fancy hotel and this walking tour gave me that. Highly recommend it. Especially to support female guides.

Great walking tour - not to be missed - Fantastic walk through the centre of Kampala. We had history, commerce, sights, sounds and smells. The markets were crowded chaos. The streets were loud and exciting. So much food. Every imaginable item was for sale. Fridaus was a fantastic guide. Very knowledgeable and so proud to show off her city. She answered all our questions, navigated the cars, busses, bikes and livestock all without missing a story or chance to climb a staircase and give us a bird's eye view. Highly recommend this tour

I had a few things I wanted to buy and Fridaus was able to fit those stops in. The tour was flexible as I needed to finish early and she kindly walked me back to my hotel. Would definitely recommend 🙂
