• Kananaskis Trail - Gather at the visitor information center by 8:00 am. Complete waivers and medical forms, then proceed in a convoy to the trailhead. Following a brief discussion on bear awareness, enjoy a few hours of hiking leading to a fantastic lunch spot in the wilderness with breathtaking views.

Relish the limestone mountain vistas, observe local wildlife, animal tracks, native plants, and learn about the geology, history, and ecology of the area. Each hike lasts approximately 6-7 hours round trip from the trailhead and includes an interpretive element. Transportation is not provided, but the drive to this unique location is definitely worth the journey. Remember to bring your camera!
