Great tour of a geisha district - Sachiko was knowledgeable and friendly. She answered everyone’s questions and explained many aspects of Kanazawa’s geisha history. We saw the places where geishas lived and worked and rehearsed, and we learned about past and current practices. She shared many interesting stories! She took us to a great restaurant where we were served a delicious meal. It was relaxing, and the staff took good care of us. She took pictures of us and made it a great evening.

Very enjoyable evening - We met our guide Tetsuro at 6pm and spent about an hour walking through the old Geisha districts, Tetsuro shared lots of fascinating facts and insights. We then went to a restaurant and had a really delicious meal. I had the pork udon as did one of my children and the other 2 had the beef. You part cook it yourself on burners and sit at a traditional table. Tetsuro was an interesting host and we enjoyed the opportunity to learn more about Japanese culture and food. We then had a pear jelly pudding and some homemade ginger tea. The restaurant was lovely, we really couldn’t fault it. I wouldn’t think this tour is suitable for children, mine are all adults. So if you are looking for a local cultural evening this is ideal and one I am happy to recommend for adults,

Great night Kanazawa fooding experience - We had a great experience, my daughter and I, visiting the Geisha district and roundabouts, led by a seasoned and kind guide namedTetsuro. He knew a lot about history and the Geisha district itself. We were quite impressed. The whole culminated by a typical Japanese meal at a friendly restaurant. The owners were very welcoming and we could interchange a couple of words on typical dishes and customs. The tour itself is quite cheap considering the meal is included and that you may opt amongst a variety of different dishes and one drink. Really good value for money.

Fun night tour with beautiful sights, delicious food, and great guide - Tetsuro was a very informative and pleasant guide who took us around the beautiful geisha districts. We learned about local customs and the rich history of the Edo period. At the end of the night, we ate a delicious meal and concluded watching fireworks on a bridge. As an added benefit, Tetsuro took wonderful pictures along the tour and made us a photo album. We very much appreciated the attention to detail and all around thoughtful experience.
