Jorge is the best private guide for Kanazawa - We thoroughly enjoyed our tour with Jorge. His English is excellent, and after living in Japan and studying extensively, he was able to share his knowledge and unique perspectives. We learned so much from him. We spent the entire day seeing as much of the city as our feet could tolerate! We highly recommend Jorge. We loved Kanazawa! Thank you Jorge 🙏.

Book and ask for Sachiko Nakai - Great tour of Samurai district, Buddhist and Shinto temples and the areas around Kanazawa castle, and the fish market. Sachiko Nakai was our guide. She was great, charming, knowledgeable and a good sport. Let the tour be flexible and was quick to divert to some nice “side quests” in addition to hitting the core components of our tour. Kanazawa was a lot less well traveled and more relaxed than the other big cities, and seemed more like everyday Japan.

Jorge is the best, if you want Spanish, Portuguese, French, English guide - I loved the day tour with Jorge, our friendly and knowledgeable guide with a unique Mexican, French-Canadian, and Japanese background. He speaks multiple languages fluently and was consistently polite and helpful. I highly recommend this tour! The staff at Kanazawa Tours were also incredibly attentive, arranging special experiences like a tea ceremony at Shouseisan and a fantastic lunch at a trendy restaurant.

Amazing day touring Kanazawa with our guide, Sachiko - What an incredible experience! We weren’t quite sure what to expect as we tend to visit places on our own, without guides, but from the moment we met Sachiko, she made us feel comfortable and her passion for Kanazawa was infectious. We saw far more in a day than we would have on our own but more than that, she gave us so much information about the city, Japan, its culture, history and people. By the end of the day we were exhausted but buzzing with what has been the best day of our holiday so far. Thank you so much Sachiko and thank you Kanazawa Tours.

Fabulous guide - Had a wonderful day with Tetsuro, very knowledgeable gentleman and good fun. Started at the fish market then an artisan ceramic designer unfortunately the shop that sold his ceramics had sold out of what we wanted. Had a fab ramen lunch followed by a tour of the Geisha district . Then a visit to an artisan laquerware painter his work requires some much precision to obtain the desired effect - awesome. Then to close the day we arrived at the modern art museum. I can highly recommend a day with Tetsuro.

Loved my day with Nozomi K. I would recommend her as a guide that will give you lots of interesting facts and able to answer my - My guide Nozomi K was fantastic. Very knowledgeable, great English skills, funny, and just wonderful! Loved the day spent with her.
