Gyokusen-en - Gyokusen-en is a garden landscaped by the Wakita family, retainers of the Kaga clan.
With a history dating back to the early Edo period (400 years ago), the garden predates the landscaping of Kenroku-en Garden. We will walk contemplate the unique design of this beautiful heritage. - Shofukaku Garden - Shofukaku is a small hidden charming garden nearby
- Gyokusen-immaru Garden - We will contemplate this charming traditional-style Landscape garden. It was named after Gyokusenin, the wife of the second feudal Lord
- Kanazawa Castle Park - Kanazawa Castle was home to the Maeda family who ruled over this region during the Edo period. We will walk through the park on our way to Gyokusen Inmaru Garden and your guide will explain about Kanazawa’s rich and unique history and cultural heritage.
- Nomura Family Samurai House - our last Stop is the Nomura Family House, a former Samurai residency with a stunning private garden. We will enjoy the tranquil atmosphere, travel back in time and your guide will explain the typical features of Samurai houses.
