A really worthwhile way to capture Kanazawa - This was our best tour of the holiday. Our guide Yoshi covered many areas and made Kanazawaya come alive for us. Very interesting and informative. Good English. Very professional.

Must sees kanazawa - Sho was punctual and Informative. Always checking we were happy with the pace and content of trip. He kindly helped us purchase a day pass bus ticket that enabled us to do less miles walking. Amazing! We saw all sights we wanted to see with commentry and interesting facts/ history. Sho took our pics during trip and sent them to us. Way easier than trying to find everything yourself. This way we didn't miss anything. Thanks

Excellent experience - learned a lot! - We enjoyed our morning tour with Yoshi - the knowledge he shared about the districts we visited helped bring Kanazawa to life for us. We learned a lot and saw a lot in a short period of time on a very rainy day - I can’t imagine having tried to tour the areas on our own. Such a great experience - highly recommend it.

Kanazawa in the rain! - We really enjoyed a private tour with Shoten, despite the rain, from our hotel to the Omicho Market, through the refurbished Kanazawa Castle and on through the streets of the Tea House district. Shoten was a great guide and knowledgeable of the history and even including the construction techniques in the Castle. He transmitted his pride in his culture and his country and answered our many ( often left field) questions. We felt that we had learned in addition to enjoying our tour. We would recommend him and the tour and wish him well for the future

Absolutely fabulous 4 hour tour of Kanazawa - What an amazing tour. 10/10 from us. Toshiko (Jasmine) was our fabulous guide. She created a perfectly timed itinerary fulfilling all our requirements and the pace was perfect. Toshiko had so much knowledge on the places we visited. She provided printed timelines to more easily explain the Edo period and other printouts to explain visually the historical hierarchy. She chatted to us throughout about life today in Japan, and answered all our draft questions. Absolutely worth every $. I wish we could take her to Kyoto on our next city adventure. Thank you so much

Great tour in Kanazawa - We did a wonderful tour with Guide Shoten Sasaki, he contacted us previously, we set up a route together and we did the tour on time. We visit Oyama Shrine, Gyokusen'inmaru Garden, Kanazawa Castle Park, Kenrokuen Park, Seisonkaku and Higashi Chaya District. During the tour Shoten was very inquisitive, took pictures and clarified our doubts. Kanazawa is a beautiful city and very rich culturally, making the guided tour further enriched our experience! Arigatou gozaimasu Sho!

A fantastic and interesting day with Tomoko-san! - We had a fantastic and interesting day with our guide Tomoko-san (language English). We learned a lot about the Geisha and Samurai life during the Edo period and visited the most beautiful places. We really appreciated Tomoko-sans deep knowledge in all aspects of Japanese culture and her enthusiasm when sharing it with us. On top of that Tomoko-san is very friendly and kind. We strongly recommend Tomoko-san and any tour she may guide. Eva & Mikael from Sweden

Fascinating and friendly intro to Kanazawa - The tour was a blast. Our guide Hiroko was amazing! She emailed before the tour to get an idea of what kinds of things we wanted to see and then made a very efficient plan to maximize our time together. Kanazawa is fascinating and beautiful, and Hiroko showed us her deep knowledge of the city’s art, culture, and history. She was warm, friendly, and engaging for the entire walk.
