Fascinating day tour on foot around Kanazawa. - We had a really interesting day-long walking tour of Kanazawa with Adeline. We were fortunate to have only we two were on the tour and Adeline was a great guide who happily curated a fascinating experience for us. Kanazawa has a rich history and thankfully quite a few ancient areas are well preserved and available for people to visit. Highly recommend this tour as a great entre to Kanazawa.

Enjoyable Walking Tour of Kanazawa! - This was a fun day tour of major sites in Kanazawa on 17 May 2025, led by our personable and knowledgeable guide, Akari. I liked that we walked everywhere and that we got to experience what life was like for a Samurai's family and Geisha by visiting the historic Samurai and Geisha Districts. We toured a shrine, and we had traditional matcha tea and Wagashi Sweets at the beautiful Gyokusen-an Garden. Akari let us explore a local market to marvel at rows of crabs and other food, while we searched for our own lunch spot. We reconnected and visited the Kanazawa Castle and stunning Kenrokuen Garden. During the day, Akari also gave us time to explore a few shops. She picked out a necklace for me to consider, which I purchased and love wearing! It makes me think of her and a fun day of touring Kanazawa! I highly recommend this tour!

One day in Kanazawa with the best guide. - My wife and I have traveled a lot but this is our 1st review. This was one of very best experiences touring the city. Mike is very personable, passionate about his job and has a great knowledge of Japanese history and culture. Mike originally from Scotland so needless to say that his English is impeccable. (Not always the case for Japanese guide) Highly recommend Mike for anyone visiting Kanazawa!
