Fabulous tour to Shirakawa - We really enjoyed this half day tour with Aiko and so glad that we got to see Shirakawa. The scenery was fabulous and it was very interesting to hear Aiko’s commentary. There was the right balance between free time and guided tour. Aiko was a great tour guide with her passion and enthusiasm, excellent English and knowledge of the area.

A great tour of nostalgic Kanazawa and Shirakawa, by Aiko. - Excellent tour by Aiko who kept us well informed about Kanazawa and Shirakawa-go. It was very well planned to avoid crowds and get a very relaxing visit to a beautiful old town. Highly recommended!

We had a great day and... - We had a great day and would definitelyrecommend the experience. Aiko is very friendly and enthusiastic and explained a lot about Japanese and Kanazawan culture. The itinerary was especially good as we got to Shirakawa-go early in the morning and beat the crowds. The afternoon was fun when got to try sweet making and gold leaf embossing.

Great experience in Shirakawa - Aiko was the best guide ever. Her energy is contagious. We arrived earlier than other groups which was great to see the village in peace. We really enjoyed the experience

Good balance between a guided tour and free time - I've booked this tour upon discovering the lack of tickets for a bus between Kanazawa and Shirakawago. It was starting at perfect time, 7:50, so I could join it early in the morning soon after arriving to Kanazawa on a night bus. On the way from to Shirakawago, our guide Yasushi told us a bit of history in an entertaining and engaging maner. Upon arrival to Shirakawago, he gave us some recomendations on what to visit and let each one decide whether to roam freely or follow a part of the predefined route with him. During the second option he was helping us take fotos and answered questions that we asked. Time of arrival to Shirakawago was perfect. We could visit the village before it got overcrowded with tourists. Still, I wish we could have stayed there longer than 2 hours, as I didn't have time to enter some museums.

Day four to Shirakawa-go - Thanks to Yasushi and Aiko for a wonderful tour. Yasushi made the tour fun and had lots of great information. Shirakawa-go is a beautiful place! I would highly recommend this tour!!!

Fabulous way to see some of old Japan - Great trip, Yasushi was an informative and very entertaining guide. Why do I need to write 100 characters? Anything else is just unnecessary.

Convenient Kanazawa-go morning tour - I did the "half-day" (morning) tour with the Aiko guide and it was a pleasant experience. The tour consists of a bus tour of Sharikawa-go with some explanations and tips (restaurants, food,...) on the road. Very handy if you haven't been able to book a bus until then on your own and/or don't have much time in Kanazawa. Comfortable bus and very friendly guide who speaks very good English.
